Thumbs up Mock Crabmeat

I don't know why this is called mock crabmeat. But it's a family recipe.
1 can (13-15 oz.) water packed artichoke hearts, finely chopped
1 c. mayo, not miracle whip
1 c. parmesan cheese.

Mix together and press into pie plate. Bake at 375 for 20-30 min, or until cheese is melted and sides are brown!

Default I LOVE This Dip...

I've been making this artichoke dip for several years - It's definately a family favorite... we add crushed garlic to the dip and then top with paprika... Also, it's really good if you use the Zesty Parmesan Cheese...

Personally, I love eating with carrots and celery ... Enjoy!

Default uh, sounds good, but

the recipe sounds good, but, uh, does anyone think that we can really eat anything doused in a cup of regular mayonnaise and a cup of regular parmesean cheese with any vegetable and expect to lose weight....or call it healthy or SB or anything else? I'm not so sure about that. Correct me if I am wrong.

Completely allowable on South Beach. Have you read the book?

Beats me! Please note that this is a very old thread. The OP has not been back here since November 2005! Sherburd just hit on it.
