Spooktacular Halloween Menu, October 31, 2006

  • Breakfast: One serving of oatmeal made with skim, banana cooked in, 1T pecans for points, equal

    Lunch: Sirloin burger on a bun (3 points), FF Bordens American slice, pickles, raw onion, ketchup, with fresh fruit

    Dinner: Can of Healthy Choice Split Pea and Ham Soup

    Dessert: Crustless Pumpkin Pie with FF cool whip
  • Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, cup of skim milk

    Lunch: tuna, FF cottage cheese, 3 pineapple rings

    Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti, button mushrooms, marinara (no meat)

    No snacks BUT I might make the crustless pumpkin pie in honor of Halloween (and fall), but mainly because it sounds SO good right now!
  • B: banana, 1 cup blueberries, skim milk shake; coffee with lf milk

    L: tuna made with ff mayo and 1 % cottage cheese, on Wasa Crisp Bread, diet soda

    D: might have the chicken on salad that I didn't eat last night (no dinner..wasn't very hungry)

    Snacks: the usual apples
  • Trying a neat-sound recipe for dinner
    B: 2 eggs (1 is white only) scrambled with avacado and ff mozzarella, 2 soyboy links and 1 slice whole grain hemp seed/spelt toast, the usual coffee

    L: probably won't be hungry b.c I didn't eat bkfst until 10:30 and it was a very filling meal

    D: Pan-fried tofu
    My exciting recipe: Broiled polenta with mushroom topping (I got it from www.allrecipes.com). Looks to be all Core ingredients. 282 cals/14.6 g. fat, 4.4 g. fiber if someone wants to use it for points.
