My Rant (You can ignore me) - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Please don't feel like you have to read this, but I am just wirey this morning and need to get this out.

I'm tired of the way things are for me. I'm tired of being 50 pounds overweight. I'm tired of dieting half-way. I'm tired of working in a job environment that chokes the life out of me every day. I'm really tired of not doing anything about it.

The fact is that I am 26 years old, don't have any kids, and should have more energy and spunk than ever before. The truth is that I act like an old woman most of the time. I should be enjoying myself instead of constantly punishing myself.

So today I am making a proclamation!
*No more treating myself with food just because I've had a bad/good day
*I will begin exercising regularly, even if it means that I miss some time with DH (he can exercise with me)
*I will pick an eating plan and stick to it
*I will search seriously for another job (once again)

OK that's all I have right now. If you have read this, thanks, and I'm sorry. I just needed to get this off my shoulders before I could go on with my day today.

Melissa, this is VERY VERY good! Good Luck and I'll be there to help you however I can, every step of the way. It's funny, I had some of the same thoughts my self just this morning. I'm 50 and my life is flying by. I'm tired of being fat and sad about it.

Eating-wise or emotionally?

I did pretty good. Ended up eating basically two suppers. Wednesdays (working late, then going to church) really messes my schedule up. But I guess no matter what, I feel like I'm in control and that means a lot because I haven't lately. Thanks for asking!

Melisa, life is not always fair is it. We have to learn to love ourselves to make the sun shine in. I strongly feel you have to have that click and then you know you can go full speed ahead. You are young and have a wonderful life ahead, don't fret, just do the best you can. Listen for that click and when you hear it go for it. Bless you and good luck.
