Take Control Tuesday menu, 4/11/06

  • So many of us have illnesses and injuries and sick loved ones ... I just hope we can all stay strong and not use these hard times as a license to eat poorly! Me included, of course!

    Here's the plan:

    B: nothing -- sick
    S: cottage cheese
L: more tuna salad, light string cheese (1 pt)
    S: applesauce
D: not sure, maybe grilled fish and a salad
  • b: malt o meal, banana, milk
l: big salad w/regular ranch dressing (pts), apple slices, milk
    s: some kind of fruit
d: beef & snow peas over rice, milk

    s: if needed - popcorn

    Angela
  • I'm trying, Kath. Angela, good to see your menu. I know that always signals that you are back solidly on Core.

I can't plan very well these days but we are trying to be good. The fruit and veggies have slipped a bit.

Breakfast: Shredded wheat and bran with equal, skim, and banana

Lunch: Small LO rotisserie chicken breast. FF cottage cheese and Del Monte Fruit Natural peach cup

    Dinner:
  • Well unfortunately my menu doesn't include solid foods. And the darn scale isn't as down as it was yesterday. But I guess that's a good thing. I still managed to drop 2 pounds.
  • we are steel magnolias, aren't we?

    b--ziploc omelet/ toast/jam 5 pts
    l--3 oz moose roast/tossed salad/vinegar and oil 4 pts
    s--banana/keebler 100 cal sandies 4 pts
    d--moose roast/2 slices diet bread, lettuce/tom/onion/ff mayo 4 pts
    s--fruit/sf jello/cool whip 6 pts
  • I should go edit mine but am too lazy, so I'll just say this: I haven't had anything to eat today. I am hurting, and can't get up, and waiting for Judd to come home. He will make me a Lean Cuisine or something light.
