Default Week 5 WI

I stayed the same. That is so discouraging. In my mind I know it was better than a gain but still, I can't help but think, what did I do wrong. It is also hard not to think "why bother, it's not working" I know these are self-defeating thoughts and they will pass but still, it is a real let down. I started out 2 lbs. for the first 3 wi's, then went to 1 now 0. I used more flex points this week than ever (22 left) I can't help but wonder if that was it. I didn't walk every day either. Still got in at least 3. I have lost a total of 7 lbs on CORE and can wear clothes I couldn't wear before but I want to get to goal and I can't if I don't lose. DH keeps telling my I'm looking smaller but the scales don't show it.

To top it all off my plans for today got cancelled because DH had to work.

Guess I should get off my butt and give the house a good cleaning.

Hope yall have a better day!

That is 7 pounds in 5 weeks and the AVERAGE LOSS OP (be it Flex or Core) is .5-2 pounds a week...you are losing an average of 1.4 pounds a week definately in the high end of the average loss.

You've still had a great loss overall as Kelly pointed out, so try not to be discouraged. You're doing great !

I can SO relate to those feelings, though, as I'm sure all of us can. My clothes are feeling better (even with just 3.5 lbs. gone) but the scale doesn't reflect a thing. My first thought is to give up just because the numbers don't reflect how I feel physically (lighter). But just keep reminding yourself about those smaller clothes you're in and how good they feel!

Hang in there!

Thanks for the encouraging words ladies. Of course you are right. That's pretty good average. I am feeling better tonight. I stayed on CORE all day so I'm not giving up.

Even though the scales are not moving, you are probably losing inches. Try measuring yourself once in a while.

Hi
If I STS at WI I pull myself out of the number blues by jumping on the scales every five mins (well not quite that often )untill they say I have lost something. Once they have done that I am happy and leave them alone. Works for me because it can get you down no matter how many inches you have lost or how good you feel.

Hang in there,
Chez
