thanks Sandra. I'm home. I did have a blockage in small artery but it was too small for a stent. This article basically says what my dr. wants me to do. Exercise but don't overdo it.

Pam, I hope it went well for you today.

I have a nice Flotaki rung on the nail polish spill.

I hosted 12 people here for dinner last night--the family of the father of the bride....very nice people. I ordered in bar-b-que and made a cake...it was all delicious and they had a good time.

My foot was swollen to about twice it's normal size!! But, ice, ice, ice!!

I slept a lot today. Also went to the gym.

Inspection will be today (tuesday) from 1 to 5.

I will be glad to be past this. The truth is that this is where some house sales
fall through. I think I will go to the movies. Would love an afternoon nap, so I may go to my cousins..

Default Back again...Day 1

Hi All, I am NEW to the forum, but not WW. I used WW a decade ago with the most amazing results. Now after having 3 kids, I tried the new WW and it didn't work for me. So I am doing it 'old skool' style with the knowledge I got the first time.

Day 1 was difficult and I really want to go to the fridge and grab a snack! But I am not going to do it. I am going to go get a good nights sleep.

Good Morning Chicks!

Pam, I'm praying for a complete and easy resolution. Congratulations on the Tigers....if we have to lose, I'd like to say we were beat by the winners.

I've been so busy this week and last. I'll try to get back to check on everyone. We have stuff planned every day. Brodie is going to see the Neurologist on Friday and lots of stuff to do before then.

Light and love.

We are a relatively small group of people who started on Core and more-or-less try to maintain that. But, we do different things, some of which work, some of which don't. It's probably fair to say that most of the time most of us try to eat lower carb.

Nancy...good luck today!

Pam, when I said you'd gotten good news, I didn't mean to trivialize your report. I happy you will be able to handle it with diet and exercise and won't be having surgery.

RunnerMum

Vickie, glad you could get on here today. I miss you when you're not here.

Nancy, how did inspection go? I'm assuming well.

Rhonda, you're a gracious hostess. Your dinner guests are lucky to have you. Use that ice! I hope it gets you better soon.

I lost about all I gained in Houston. Life is good. Now I will go get my tracker up to date. I don't think I changed it last week but I will now.

Pam, glad things went well. I have read about small blockages getting smaller with diet and exercise!

Got lots to do, so I gotta go. Hey to the rest of you chickies!

Forgot to mention that Curtis is finished going to physical therapy and is to continue on his own. He doesn't have to go back to the doctor till January.

Sloan, Hey! And Hey to you, too, Maryann. Hope ya'll are having a good day.

I've been eliminating wheat from my diet, eating gluten-free bread and just not eating wheat-based foods. I think I feel better for it.

I also cut out dairy but can't tell that it matters one way or the other.

My foot seems to be recovering from the beating it got over the weekend. I've got to go shoe-shopping. I wore Mary Janes to the wedding, and they just weren't sturdy enough.

That's good news about Curtis's recovery.

Rhonda, I bought Keen shoes....style Paradise and L O V E them. I might not even use my orthotics. Got them from my favorite shoe store http://www.shoebuy.com/keen-mary-janes.htm. They almost always have coupons. Right now there is an extra 10% code SHOEBUY.

I think my style is discontinued but the insole was very cushiony. I took out my orthotics and put their insert back in and it feels better.
