Rhonda, sounds like all is going well. I'll bet ya'll are having a great time with the grands. We'll be watching our 9 yo play bb this afternoon.

Maryann, thanks for telling me about PB club.

Well, Sandra, we are surviving

The younger of the two boys seems to screech instead of talk, and it's a bit irritating! But, they're good kids and they like to play with their trains and Playdough. In fact, this morning they were making seahorse french fries for breakfast.

My cooking is much more mundane: I made pancakes for them, which they pronounced "incredible." The secret is buttermilk and sour cream.

Rhonda, your pancakes sound yummy! Curtis and I are driving to Hillsboro this afternoon to get some fried pies. They even have sf ones. We're going after Alexa's bb game.

HI Ladies A Little Late But Better Than Not Being Here At All

Woke up late around 9AM called my friend Mary to see if she was going to work today and put our local radio station to find out how much snow we were getting .Looks like is going to be 6-9 ", they told us on the weather station last night 3-5,
Not going out this weekend even though our street & parking places in front of each condo was plowed. I turned out lazy and its now close to 4PM and I still have my jammy on.

Got on the scale this morning and I down to 168,lost 1.5 this week

RHONDA-A friend on another board told me in England they can still buy tobacco products but they hide them under the counter if they are near the pharmacy dept.

SANDRA-Looking forward to going back to the PB Club in the Spring or summer months.

Have a great evening

OH yes, a day in PJ's. What's Hugh Hefner got that we don't?

I just made a good soup:

home-made chicken broth
great northern beans
black-eyed peas
kale
onions
garlic
salt and pepper to taste

I was told to add more beans to my diet, so this looks like a good way to do that.

Everyone sounds like they are having fun with snow & grands & fried pies !!

I sold Robin's motorcycle yesterday and today I met with the people who are interested in the house ..They want to buy it at the price I set !!!
We talked about timing and we are all on the same page with that as well.
We are looking at about 6 months out which will give me time to start work and
sort & organize the garage , sheds & attic. This week we will work up a contract. He is also exploring the option of buying it now to get the current interest rates and renting it back to me until his house sells.

Isn't this great news..Robin and I always felt this family would work out..
Super nice people..

great news Nancy. Things are falling into place for you.

I'm watching Betty White's 90th birthday celebration. I have always loved her.

Maryann, we are the same weight. Do you drive in the snow? I'm terrifed and so glad we have nothing like that here in Fl.

Fried pies sounds good and so does pancakes. I think I'll make french toast for our breakfast tomorrow.

Hi Ladies

The snow is high[got 6-8'] on the ground and I couldn't get to church today. They plowed my driveway but I didn't have time last night to move my car,so my next door neighbor cleaned off my car and told me to move my car to the other side so they can get the individual spots cleaned the next time they come around.

Alice called this morning to tell me all the main roads in town are cleaned and she got to her church but my little street they didn't do. TG we have electric and no power outages reported.

NANCY-That great news, so happy for you that you got that off your mind. After you move are to thinking about a small house or will your rent?????Whatever, hope every thing works out for you.

PAM-Oh I do not go out in the snow or if its snowing,as when had a white out yesterday so I stayed in. This morning and today I will stay put as the roads are not clear they way I like them, but on Tues the temps will go up in the 50's and than the whole week with be tin the 40;s so this white stuff should melt.

Have to go I'm hungry and must have my lunch as its 1 PM

Have a great day

It feels like snow here today.

I took my Grandson to see "We bought a zoo"
Didn't know it was more about a grieving widower than the animals..
When he pulled out my exact MacBook and went thru IPhotos of his wife while crying it was too close for comfort. I did that every night for about 6 months..

I am finally relaxed about this housing transition . I have time now to sort all my stuff and pare down what I keep..When I move out, if I haven't found a house yet, I will move to an apartment near by
with a month to month contract & put a lot in storage. Then I can take my time and house shop.

I looked at an apartment complex today that is really nice.
