The meat balls were good, and I'll post the recipe here soon.

Sandra, aren't those kids the cutest!!! We'll spend tomorrow evening with them.

Pam, I hate to tell you but walking at a strolling pace will not take off the weight. But, it's good for your bones, keep on walking.

I don't know if this link will come up, or if the administrators will leave it or not, but it's the group dancing....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct5sT3EcoCI

As the dance begins, I'm on the right, in the middle.

Rhonda, we are not strolling. I think my husband has shin splints, lol. He is the one lagging behind. We are walking at a good pace, although I could walk a lot faster. He is complaining that the front of his legs hurts, below the knee. He also keeps telling me I'm practically running. Ummm, no, not hardly. We are getting in at least an hour a day.

Off to watch your video.

You guys are something to remember the Christmas trip issue..Yes they are all here and its awesome.

But guess what..today my oldest son spiked a 103 fever with severe headache.
His Dr wanted him checked out at the ER to rule out meningitus. He was neg for flu so far. So here I sit tonight in the same ER where Robin and I were last year on Dec 19th when we rushed here & got his diagnosis the next day. But strangely I am okay & I am sure my son will be fine

I am determined to let nothing keep me from thinking about Christ's birth.
My cooking may go undone, I may be in the last place I would like to be tonight, my shopping never got completed , and my house is a mess but it's still my savior's birthday..

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I hope you all are having the Christmas you're wanting. We're enjoying watching birds feeding this morning while a light drizzle falls. In a bit we're going out to lunch at our favorite local spot then will visit folks in the surrounding communities. Our family gathering is tentatively tomorrow but will most likely be Tuesday. I know why I gain so much during Christmas. Can't isolate the celebration to one day. I'm almost tired of eating already.

Rhonda, I bookmarked the dance video. You are extremely talented and graceful. I thought you were the best. And I'm not being prejudiced.

Pam, just keep moving. I need to do the same.

Ems, what are you doing for Christmas?

Nancy, I was wondering about the trip, also, but was hesitant to ask. I'm glad they are with you. Let us know how your son is. I hope they get his fever down quickly and ya'll can enjoy yourselves.

Vickie, is your remodeling finished? How about the cookies? I love reading about your traditions. Makes me smile.

Nancy, I hope all is better this morning.

Pam, I don't know why I assumed strolling! But, I do believe you've got to do about 3 mph to have much effect. It sounds like you can but that you're wearing out your hubby!!

Sandra, I'm glad you enjoyed the video of the dance. I will post others after Christmas.

We're going to Grandkids tonight, with other family visiting here and there. There have been some bumps along the way, trying to organize disorganized people who have lots of obligations, but it's working out fine.

The bluejays, doves, cardinals and chickadees are enjoying their food this morning.

Vickie, I hope all is well. I can smell those cookies all the way down here

I suppose everyone is ready for the big day tomorrow.

Rhonda, loved watching the video. I agree with Sandra, you were the best one. I think we are walking around 3 mph but when I walked by myself, I tried to keep a 4 mph pace. I'm sure we will see results eventually. It just takes so long when we get older.

Nancy, praying your son is okay. My granddaughter had an MRI and still hasn't been told the results. They had her on meds for the fluid pressure on the brain, but they are not agreeing with her and she can't seem to get with the dr. to change them. Idiots. She still is getting the headaches. I told her to go to his office and demand to see him.

I'm missing the kids. Thankfully they are coming here next year. We will be alone. My sis and her husband stopped by and brought gifts.

Vickie, I'll take a few of those cookies. I'm thinking about making the SBD peanut and jelly cookies for us. I used to make a variety of cookies but haven't done so in a couple years.

Sandra, enjoy the good food. Christmas only comes once a year.

Pam, I am glad Christmas comes just once a year. We've had the bumps like Rhonda. That's why we're gathering on Tuesday.

My gf and I are talking about going back to the water after the holidays.

Merry Christmas, chickies! The presents are open, guys gone back to bed, and daughter and husband gone to his family celebration. I'm on the couch with a cracklin' fire, watching A Christmas Carol, and drinking cranberry orange mimosas. To quote one of my favorite chickies, "Life is good!"
