Good Morning Ladies

Want to wish you all a good week,as I will be off the computer tomorrow morning and for the week,as I don't want my DGC to play with it. My DD computer crashes several times and I know the kids when go into web sites or something they weren't suppose to.

NANCY-Your welcome I'm always here to ask questions as I went though this 1 1/2 years.I found that the only way to meet people is to join clubs or organizations, this way you see then every week and its easier to make friends than just going out to dances where the people change every week.

SANDRA- Oh the troubles computers get into. That's the reason that my DGC can touch my computer as I have a Mac and they don't have any protection like the PC's have.

Have to go to walmarts and get last minute thing for the trip.
See you guy next Sunday Bye.

I stayed up til 4 am getting all my CD's organized and back in their cases. We had them in CD notebooks but I missed having the case with them. Its so nice to have the stereo set back up & be able to listen to music while I am
workin around the house. Today I need to work on the pool .

In this area, they run lots of classes for beginning camping, etc.

You are always welcome to visit Texas, and Sandra and I will take you out.

It's important to do the things you want to do; there will be friends there!
Good ideas..I have done some hiking & kayaking with Meetup Groups in my area. If you have never heard of them..Google them. They group people with the same interest in every imaginable area. Very organized.
I don't enjoy being around the partying type and i have run into that with some of the REI groups. My church does lots of outdoor things but its always just for the men. Robin wanted me to talk to them about offering some of the outdoor trips for the ladies.

Some day that would be amazing to see more of our country and come to Texas . Most people want to travel overseas but I want to see more of the USA first. Some day we should all rent a beach house for a week and plan a
3 Fat Chicks week.

Maryann- I am the same way about kids on my computer..We have dealt with too many viruses.

I didn't even think about the REI groups being party animals I haven't been to them. I know that I have seen women only groups organized by them, but, as I said, I have no first hand experience with them.

Yes, I know about Meetup groups, but, haven't been to them either.

I, too, want to see the US first. I've been to some parts of the world, but there are still 5 states I haven't seen, and they're on my list.

Maryann, have fun!

Good Morning Chicks! I'm still on a baby binge and trying to pull back the reins. Two days in control but I have a party today. I'll be as good as I can. We have a major master bath remodel necessary in addition to needing the pool and deck taken out. YIKES! Next week is filled with estimate appointments with a Lazyboy repair in there for fun.

No pool today, but we hope to spend the whole day in there tomorrow.

Rhonda..I didn't mean that they all party..just that i will have to watch out for
that.

I have a stacked stone wall on both sides of the front walk that was not built very well and lots of the top stones are off & parts of the wall (1ft tall) is crumbling.
A guy came today and said it would cost me big to have them fix it.
I decided to try to use landscape adhesive and glue the top pieces back on.
Some places I have to go down a few deep to get the top just right.
Its hard work , I only got 2 yards done and I was exhausted, but I did it !!!

I only have another 200 yards to go

For my attic project I came up with a way to sort the boxes in the garage
which is working out much better than doing it in the attic.

. My plan is to do 2 attic boxes per day and an hour a day of this stacked wall. Hopefully I can get both finished in a month or 2.

Hi there. Today is Day 4 making healthy eating choices. I have chicken breasts roasting now in our brand new toaster oven. They should be ready shortly.

Nancy and Rhonda, you both amaze me with your energy. Way to go, girls.

Vickie, I'm taking baby steps, too. Do the best you can at the party. I'm trying to focus on my long term goals and pleasures. Had a few "nonessential" items talking to me earlier. So far so good.

Got to go prepare the sides. Catch ya later.

You have great control, Rhonda.

I had roast beef, carrots, green beans, and a small house salad for lunch. Day 5 of eating in a way for me to get the results I want. Life is good.

I'm not eating perfectly by any stretch, but I am making better choices than I was this time last week. Thank goodness!

Nancy and Rhonda, you both are much more in control of your eating than I am. I'm trying to do better.

Good Morning Chicks! I've been sick since early, EARLY Sunday morning. Violently. It's either food poisoning or a bug. Diet 7Up and Pepto Bismol for me until further notice.
