I had a pretty good day at school. The students are still working hard. My eating is all over the place, but I'm at 129, so I'm okay for now. I know I need to do some cooking, but just have not made myself do it.

Rhonda-thanks for the quote from your doctor friend. I'm gonna share that with DH. I hope your roof holds out. My parents had a flat roof, and it was a constant battle. Just get it sold, quick!

Maryann-feel good soon! Chicken soup sounds like just what the doctor ordered!

Hey to the rest of you chickies!

Hey Chicks. I'm just up here in the middle of the night again. Can't get comfortable with the kidney stone discomfort. I think I'll break down and make an appointment with the specialist to see what's going on here.

Donna, it sounds like you are regaining control and that things are slowly getting back to normal for you. The knitting and the walking both sound like good ideas.

Rhonda.....my fingers are crossed that your roof holds until you get your house sold.

Sloan, you can't please everyone. Don't let it get you down. I'm sorry about your Nephew, especially the upset it must be causing your DS. I don't have children myself, but I've learned from watching my Sisters and Niece and that it's hard to practice tough love. I'll hold your family in my good thoughts and prayers.

Sandra, I hope you're doing well in your tournament.

Paula, congratulations on the exercise and the good eating. Where is vacation?

Mary Ann, there is nothing worse than a summer cold. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm off to surf. Have a great day. I had exercise and a trip to Super Walmart planned, but we'll see.

Hi Ladies

We just came back from chemo center.

The traffic was horrendous, lucky it was the other direction. Its was a long day as the both of us got up at 6:15 and out of the house at 8AM.

We got there earlier than our appointment so the doctor didn't get to order in for the chemo from the pharmacy,so we had to wait until that was placed ,but in the mean while the nurse got the port flushed, and than they tried to get blood from the port and it didn't happen.

After, the chemo was ready and it took only 10m in inject. After the treatment the nursers tried again to get the blood from the port and it came, we were on our way home.

SLOANE-As fast as the cold came, its gone again,I guess rest drinking lots of liquids and taking my Zican did the trick.I feeling like my old self again.

VICKIE-OH MY!!!! Kidney stones,I just can imagine the pain that your in as I had one big one and had to be hospitalized many years ago. Once they put the dye in the veins that stone deteriorated and I passed what was left of the stone. The cold is gone, and I'm happy about that, don't need to give Leo any unnecessary germs. GOOD Thoughts and [[[[[good vibes]]]]] are on there way.

Hi All:

The house has been on the market since this morning and already about 8 people have been by with their agents. We were here for some, and gone for the others. More are coming this evening. That's good news. There will be an open house Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Roof still intact, but we do have a problem in the basement bathroom floor....there is water from somewhere I know! I believe that between the roof and that problem we are going to spend more $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Oh well, maybe it will be worth it; if it's not, we don't sell....simple.

My eating is weird, that's all I'll say about that. But, I lost another pound over the last 10 days.

My heart goes out to you guys: Vickie, Maryann, Sloan with the real troubles of health and well-being...holding you all in my good thoughts.

Hi there. We are home. Actually, we got home Monday evening but I've been too pooped to pute. Curtis was able to finish all days of shooting. I won and set records for women in their 60's and 50's. Eating has been horrific. Now we're settling in and getting back on track. I did not make it to WW yesterday but am planning to do so next week. Right now, we're still trying to regroup from the trip.

Vickie, I am so sorry you're having problems with kidney stones. I hope you're better quickly.

Rhonda, congrats on losing that pound. Maybe I need to dos ome weird eating.

Sloan, I am totally impressed with your weight being 129. I can't even imagine what I'd look like at that weight.

Maryann, is Leo doing all right? How are you?

Hi Ladies

I was in a bit of rush this morning, to get to the grocery store before the heavy rains hit.
Leo not feeling well due to the chemo he had yesterday. He very tired and fatigued,so I let him sleep.

Now that I saw Julia & Julie I have cooking on my mind and I'm going to attempt to make Beef Bourguignon over the weekend. According to the movie the recipe almost resembles beef goulash. Wish me luck.

Going to watch the PGA tournament this afternoon.Hope Leo is up by than,as he love golf more than I do,but unfortunately we don't play, due to bad backs.

RHONDA-That a good sign that you had 8 people,You'll sell you house. If the basement bath is leaking you must fix it in order to sell. Or you could drop the price, either way.

SANDRA-He getting tired & fatigued from the chemo, but hopefully the meds will work for this coughing.

Hi All,

Just popping in really quick since I'm whipped. Things have been going ok this week. Not great but ok. Today I took my nephew to the zoo to see the anamatronic (sp) dinosaurs for his birthday. It was hot and he is a crazy child, so now I am going to relax for the evening.....And I'm counting walking around the zoo for the better part of 4 hrs as my walk for the day!

Have a great one everyone. I'll try to stop in tomorrow to "talk" to everyone.

-Tech

Maryann and Donna, it's good to see you here today. Where is everyone else? I hope they are out there doing the "right" thing. I need to get my eating under control. Other than that--Life is Good.

Well, Sandra, we were out of the house much of the day while people looked at the house. I went to the office for a few hours, then had a manicure....pedicure tomorrow because they couldn't work me in on short notice.

Many, many more came by today...all is good, so far.

I'm tired beyond belief and DH is even worse

Good Morning Chicks. I'm hanging in there. I'm still in a bit of pain but the worst has subsided for now. I had my CT scan on Wednesday afternoon. No one called me from the Doctor's office so I'm assuming that the stone is small enough to pass on it's own. No call to set up an emergency lithotripsy or stent. So.......

I'm still on program and doing ok. It's going to be really hot today and through the weekend so it's pool pool pool for me. I just have to figure out a way to protect my hair which is getting cut and colored today.

Have a great day and drink your water.

Hi Ladies

Nothing new, Leo & I are relaxing watching the golf champions playoffs.
Woke up late and than had to go out and get Leo's meds, and than starting dinner, got me off guard with the time.

DONNA-I can imagine having your nephew with you can be never wreaking, as when my DGC came up to see us I forgot how wild they can be,not having them around all the time. I count that as your exercise for the day for 4 miles, that good workout.

SANDRA-Don't think anything is wrong as in the summer they're different things to do,and that's a reason I almost forgot to check in. My weigh was stall for the last 3 days but now its moving downward again. Not going to count my chicken until Monday W-I.

RHONDA-That's a good sign and you'll be on your way soon.Hope you get some rest and try to relax.

VICKIE-Happy to bear that your more comfortable today,If you have to pass the stone yourself make sure you drink lots of liquids and along with some cranberry juice. That what they told me to do. The POOL is a great way to exercise doing laps and staying cool also.

PAULA-Hope you see this post have a great time in Maine enjoy and relax a little.

Rhonda, I didn't realize ya'll were this close to showing. I hope you get some high bids. Now you both get some rest.

Maryann, congrats on moving your scales down again.

Vickie, I'm glad you didn't get the call from your doctor. Enjoy your day in the pool.

Well, chickies, I got fingerprinted and had my mugshot made today. All public school personnel have to do so now in Texas. Now I'm a couple of steps closer to subbing. Life is good.
