Maryann, your daughter and all of your family are in my prayers. We're here for you.
Rhonda, Vickie's right. Your weight will start to drop. Right now you're probably building muscles. Or maybe you're right and your body's in shock. Either way hang in there and you'll start seeing results.
Vickie, I have to tell you again how proud I am for you. You're doing great.
We're going to the doctor this AM for checkups. That means fasting. You'd think we were starving the way we're acting. And we'll get to have bfast just about an hour later than normal. Oh, well.

Hi everyone. As usual of late, work has been busy. I hate having to leave late, it just throws off my routine in the evenings. Oh well, I'm going to try to sneak out early today. Doing OK foodwise. Seem to be maintaining, which is OK for now. WE have a cookout at freinds on Saturday afternoon and then we are having one on Sunday. Should be a fun weekend. Rented a bouncy house for the kids as well.
Maryann - glad to hear things are well with Leo. Keep us updated on your dd. There are so many things that can be done these days. We are here for you!
Vickie - did you make a decision on the Scottie? I agree with the rest, you should take her. It will help heal your heart and give her a loving home. Congrats on keeping up the losses!!
Coco - glad dh make out OK with his surgery. My mom had the same thing done this week as well. On Tuesday she had it done and the patch removed on Wed. She was amazed at how bright the world was! They also did a lens replacement so now she doesn't need a contact in that eye. Good luck with his follow up appt.
Rhonda, the scale will catch up with your body. Remeber, muscle does weigh more than fat. Have you done your measurements? Or feeling a difference in your clothes?
Well, got to run. BBL

Hi Everyone
Just thought I would get on here for a few. Have to finish packing.
Then when son gets home. We will take off.
Hubby's follow up appt went well. Still have to put the drops in 4 times a day for a week. He goes back next Friday. Has to wear the patch at bedtime only. So that is good.
BEACHBUM You and your family are in my prayers.
ONTARGET Hope your Dr's appt went well.
VICKIE Hope you had a good day. Sorry you wont be able to use your pool yet. But you will.
BLESSEDWITHSARAH I bet the kids will love the bouncy house.
TEJAS Glad your knee is feeling better.
Well I need to get off here. Just wanted to check in for a few.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Will be thinking of each of you. And will miss you.
Wish I could take my computer with me. But cant do that.
Talk to you when we get home.

Hi Ladies
All is Ok with my Daughter she had her catheterization this morning along with a x-ray and they found that somehow when she was born or conceived her arteries were under a muscle and when the muscle crushed the arteries the chest pains began. So when she exercised or did any type of extortion the chest pains came as she wasn't getting enough blood & oxygen to her heart .She now has to take a beta blocker & take it easy no gym for the next week or so.
Thanks all for your prayers.

Good early morning everyone:
Maryann, what wonderful news for your daughter. Scarey at first!
Paula asked if I could feel a difference in my clothes, and I can. I marvel at that. The scale is barely moving but I feel lighter and my pants fit better. I didn't do measurements, but I am down another pound.
Vickie, you asked about plans. Well, mine are evolving each day. There are discussions being held that might result in my staying at work another 6 months. It's a strange feeling to be possibly postponing retirement when I am ready to go, but there is a big project that some people believe I am best placed to do. It wouldn't be awful to stay because we don't even have our house on the market yet. I'll know more soon, obviously.
If the house sells, then we'll go shopping in Texas for a new place, and maybe I'll just rent an apartment here and work a few months. I'll admit to a fantasy that DH would get the new house ready and I could just move in. I'm delusional, I know. If the house doesn't sell, then we have another situation. But, I am remarkably calm about it all...mostly it won't do any good to get upset. That would interfere with my athletic training

Rhonda, you made me LOL! Why not get paid while you are waiting for your house to sell? And, I love your fantasy. It could happen, you never know!
I'm scheduled to walk on the treadmill today and tomorrow. Later today, I'm going to my big Sister's house to fix her computer which is acting weird. I'm not sure what we'll all do for dinner. Sunday is a day of rest (well except for the treadmill) and Monday we go to a BBQ at my Niece's house. It should all be fun since they are my favorite people in the world.

They are waiting for the cardiologist before admitting her. They're meanwhile are giving her blood thinners[Hope its not a blood clot in the back of the knee] I have no idea what. Maryann, I am very concerned about your daughter. I hope all goes well. It sounds like she's in good hands. Do you think you'll be able to go be with her now that your leg's feeling better?
Rhonda, I am proud of you (as always). Good success on selling your home. Remember--staging.
Vickie, sounds like a fun weekend. Enjoy yourself.
I rode to Austin today with my son and 1 granddaughter for our nephew's graduation. Life is good. Now I'm tired and am getting offline to rest.

Oh, Maryann! I'm so sorry to hear that there is another, or maybe the same, problem for your daughter. I'm not too formal religiously, but I've got my prayers going for your family.

Good Morning Ladies
My DD is still in the hospital until Wed. She had a blood clot in your left leg,and there giving her a blood thinner called coumadin. It seems that the catheterization she had done the day before caused it. Her DH bought her lap top to her, and this morning we got a e-mail that she had a good night and shes feeling lot better. The family is going to be with her the whole day.
SANDRA-I would love to be with her, but I have obligations to Leo as hes going in for his second contract surgery this week and I need to be there for him,so its impossible to be there with my DD.
RHONDA-Thanks,even the kind thought will help.
THANKS TO ALL THE LADIES ON THIS THREAD THAT MADE MY LIFE A LITTLE EASIER THAT STRESS BROUGHT ON DURING MY DAUGHTERS ORDEAL IN THE HOSPITAL

Thank God she's ok, Mary Ann and that's she was wise enough to get herself to the emergency room.
I'm making a WW Blueberry pie to take with to the BBQ tomorrow. It's fabulous. I haven't decided if I'll eat any or not. I weigh in tomorrow before I go to the party. Can you believe they are open every holiday except for Christmas?

Whew, Maryann. As Vickie has said, thank goodness she went to the hospital. And, that they found out the problem relatively quickly. Medical procedures can be risky even though they are necessary.

Maryann, of course you need to be there for Leo. I had missed where you'd mentioned his surgery. I hope all goes well for him. Are you just about a basketcase now? I know I would be with so much going on. Hang in there.
We shot a 3D tournament today and I scored my personal best. We got in a lot of hiking in the woods and had a blast. We shot with 4 other men. I was the only old hen in our group of roosters.
Vickie, I am surprised JC is open tomorrow, but am glad. That's good that you can wi on a holiday. Is the bb pie posted here? Just wondering.
