Core Menus - November
Since the menu thread doesn't get a whole lot of attention, maybe we can have monthly ones instead of weekly? I didn't see a recent thread so thought I'd start up a new one.... These things really help keep me on track.
Thursday:
B: 2 eggs, 1/2 of a wrap, salsa (0.5)
L: lentil soup
S: plain yogurt, orange
D: potato, egg [my other planned dinner was a disaster ]
S: a tiny bit of B&J ice cream (3 - even a tiny bit is so much!)
=3.5 pts

B: shredded wheat and bran with skim milk, cinnamon, and splenda
L: quinoa with chicken, green peas, and candied sesame teriyaki sauce (1 pt)
s: FF cottage cheese with pineapple
D: pork chop with A1 sauce; baked potato brushed with olive oil (to make the skin crispy!) plus lite butter (2 pts), garlic salt, paprika, and pepper
s: skim milk plus 1 T cocoa and 2 packets splenda
I also exercised, but since I don't eat my activity points I don't typically bother to calculate them
I started Core about a week and a half ago. I lost 4.5 my first week and I weigh in on Tuesdays. I've done WW before and lost about 46 pounds, but I did Flex back then. I'm just sick of counting at this point.

I'll join in the menu thread.
Saturday:
Slept through breakfast!
It's 2 PM and so far I've just had coffee with milk, an apple and a banana.
I'm having dinner at a friend's and she is serving pork chops.
I'm making this a low calorie weekend as much as possible, having splurged at a party on Thursday night.
Rhonda

s: coffee with skim milk, cocoa, and splenda
B: shredded wheat and bran with skim milk, splenda, cinnamon
2 scrambled eggs with ketchup
s: sugar cookie (4 pts)
L: meatless core chili with soy cheese
D: spaghetti squash with 93% lean ground beef, spaghetti sauce, and soy cheese
s: soy milk with core crockpot apple pudding
today i've been in a funk. suddenly i started thinking, "this is stupid...why am i doing this? this is never going to work." i am depressed because i had lost 46 pounds at one point, and i have let myself gain back all but 15 of those pounds. argh.
tomorrow i'm going to my mother-in-law's house for her birthday, and i know there will be all non-core food there. i've only used about 10 WPA's this week (less than that, if i'm honest - i never take AP's into consideration), so i know that all i have to do is eat small portions and i should be fine. i continue to freak out anyway and almost pulled a "well if i'm going to cheat tomorrow, might as well stop today".....but i managed to stop myself after 2 pretzels.
ok, i'll stop with the negative stuff now. weekends tend to do this to me. i get out of my "routine" and feel all messed up.

I'm the same way with weekends... I struggle to keep my eating OP because I'm out of my structured work environment which forces me to eat at certain times and plan way in advance and stuff. Weekends are always my downfall. Good luck with your MIL's birthday.
Sunday's plan:
B1: slice of toast (1)
...then we had pizza, and I ate way too much and felt icky the rest of the day.
=unknown number of points used today, probably the majority of them are gone for the week.

Monday, Nov. 17
Not at all sure what I'm doing today, but I'll try for low calorie today.
I'll start with eggs, then try salad, fruit and veggies for the rest of the day. I'll add some other protein along the way.
Rhonda
