Happy Sunday lovelies!

It's another cold & gloomy day in the U.P. It's been snowing on and off and we just have a dusting on the ground. I'm heading back to Chicago next Monday for Turkey break and couldn't be more excited. Finally, civilization I'm starting to get frustrated with Core. I think in January after I come back from Christmas break I'm going to try Flex just to shake up my system. I just don't feel satisfied anymore. Any thoughts? I'm also buying more workout tapes... Has anyone done Zumba or Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred? I've got another 20-25 pounds to lose.

Rhonda: I hope you had a good trip. Where did you go?

Yolanda: Congrats on the 3 pounds!! Keep it up

Nancy: How did the test go?

Paula, congratulations on your NSV. I am proud for you.

We are having a recovery day here since we've been running in circles all week. PLus, we had some excitement the other day. We were both inside when a bullet came sailing through the front wall into the hall. At first we thought it was a drive by shooting, but now we have figured out it was some teenage boys dove hunting. We're glad it was a hunting accident and not a random shooting. It was a harrowing experience. The bullet sailed through the hall into the wall on the opposite side. What next?

We shot a tournament Saturday in Dallas then had a celebratory meal at Pappadeaux. We both had shrimp. Tomorrow we'll be working in the yard again.

Our weather is glorious. Tomorrow is to be sunny and mid-70's. We'll do yardwork readying the new rosebed for some Jackson and Perkins rosebushes I've ordered that should arrive Jan or Feb. Life is good.

Sorry this is so long. I am just wanting to chat with you all.

Rhonda, I still like the idea of low calorie days and am going to copy you.

Sammi, I haven't tried any of those tapes. Let us know what you think.

Have a super Sunday, Chickies.

Hi Everyone
Well I am sitting here watching it snow. Been trying to snow all day. Dont think we are suppose to get anything. Just flurries. It is 36 degrees and windy. The kind where you cant get warm.
Hubby is feeling better. Took him off the one new pill. But had to start another new one today. So keeping fingers crossed that it works.
Hubby and son are taking a nap right now. So thought I would get on here.
Then I guess we will go to hubby's brothers. But would just like to stay home where it is warm.
Not sure how WI will go tomorrow night. Just hope for a maintain.
I havent read the post. So sorry I am not writing to each of you.
But know that I am thinking of you.
Well I will get off here for now.
Go read the post.
Hope everyone is doing ok. And staying warm.

Hi All:

We had some snow flying around in the air today. It wasn't too cold though: just around freezing. I spent over an hour raking, shoveling, sweeping up leaves on my side of the street...the whole darn block! I've earned my karma points for the day, plus got some exercise.

Sandra, I'm so glad you and Curtis weren't in the line of fire.

Sammi, I haven't been anywhere since October and we went to NM and Texas then. Otherwise, I've been right here in Toronto, working.

My food control was OK, but not as low calorie as I wanted to be. I imagine I worked most of it off. I think I'm having just soup for dinner.

Hope you all have a good night.

Rhonda
