Thumbs up Exercise Challenge: October 20-26

Whatever you do, add 20 minutes of that exercise or another one, 5 days this week. That will add 1 hour and 40 minutes of exercise to your week.

For example, everyday I walk my dog for 20-30 minutes. Five days a week, I walk at least 3 miles a day. So, for five days this week, I will do what I normally do, but add at least 20 minutes of some other kind of exercise to my schedule.

If you don't do anything, then do something for at least 20 minutes, five days this week.

Join me and make it easier!!!

I'll join in

Since I haven't been doing much of anything for the last month my goal will be to get in 30 minutes 5 times this week.

Mon - I'm off to a good start I went for a 40 minute walk this morning. Both the dog and I feel better.

Tues - Went to the gym and did weight training on the machines 35 mins.

Wed - 40 mins mall walking w/mom; 30 minutes dog walking.

Have a great day.

Monday: nothing. I was sick most of the day, did not go to the office, and spent hours in bed, sleeping. I didn't even walk the dog: DH did it for me.

Tuesday: nothing extra today. I did the normal 3 miles of walking.

Wednesday: I did the normal 3 miles of walking, then I added another hour of walking and 20 minutes of floor exercises and free weights. I still don't feel well enough to do aerobics, but I did move more today.

Thursday: I did the normal three miles and then added over one hour of walking.

Friday: I'm so d#*n tired that I may not do one thing extra, which means that I won't meet my own challenge...we'll see....

Saturday....one hour of walking

Sunday.....20 extra minutes of floor exercises.

So, while I didn't do something extra for five days, I added 3 hours and 40 minutes to my normal exercise.
