Default Icecream for breakfast

I tried a recipe I got for icecream/frozen yogurt. It was awesome! I had it for breakfast today. I froze some strawberries yesterday, and also some banana slices. I put about 6 frozen strawberries, 5 banana slices, 1 cup fat free milk and 2 packets of splenda into my blender and blended it. It made so much that I could only eat about 1/2 of it and put the rest in the freezer. It was awesome and totally core.

Let me know how it is with just bananas. I love banana popsicles so I bet it would be good!

You can really use any kind of fruit. I was thinking of freezing pineapple and trying that.

It was delicious. It felt like a treat. I needed another serving of fruit so I used a whole banana just blended it in my blender and let it freeze till it had a consistency of mushy and I loved it. I didn't freeze the banana first, but I noticed you do. I'll have to try that. I agree it would be good with other fruits. I'm going to try it with some other fruits like frozen blueberries and freeze some pineapple. I love ice cream so this way I can make it have a variety of flavors. Thanks again for sharing it.

There are a couple of recipes on our site that use SF/FF pudding to make them thick and they are awesome. I use them for my afternoon snack.

I highly recommend the Chocolate Frosty and the Cherry Garcia. They're my two favorites.

Oh and try one with a banana, skim, chocolate fudge SF/FF, and some ice. Outstanding!

I'm so glad you all like it! I was so surprised at how easy it was, and how good it tastes.

Pattygirl, you will be amazed at how much it is like icecream if you freeze the fruit first. It's just like icecream/frozen yogurt.

I will have to check our site for the ones that you use pudding with them. That sounds pretty good and then you could get some different flavors with them as well.
