Cannellini Beans and Spinach!

I cannot tell you how many Fat Grams or the sodium content, but since I stumbled upon this recipe, I am a much saner person.

Saute (1 tbl) crushed garlic in a tbl. of your favorite vegtable oil
Take 2 (15.5 oz.) cans Goya Cannellini Beans, drained
and one small package of frozen spinach, heat on medium heat for 10 minutes. Season to taste :dizzy:

Oh it really, sustains those carb cravings, that I normally would curb with rice or potatoes. I think that this must be healthier!

carb count in beans

I think the cannelini beans have a lot of carbs in them. I could only find a can of red kidney beans in the pantry and they had 20g with 5 fiber, that makes 15g and too much for me at my 30g a day limit this week. Maybe later on in the diet.

Oh! I had no idea that a low carb diet was that low, I just try to not eat bread and pasta and rice, so its ok for me, but not as good as I thought. Thanks!

I figured this to be around 122 grams for the whole recipe (but my food calculator does not list cannellini beans, I used kidney beans).

So, around 20 grams for 6 servings, too expensive for me!
