2 cups of water
1 cup long grain brown rice
2 slices bacon-pref turkey
can of red beans-drained
***check the labels, some have added corn syrup
chopped onion
hot sauce
boil water, add rice cover and simmer for 45 min.
Lightly oil pan, fry up chopped bacon, saute onion then add beans and heat through. Once rice is ready mix together, add hot sauce to your likin, salt & pepper it up and eat. Serves at least 4.
