For over 12 hours now i've felt like my heart is racing like mad!I've taken my pulse a few times and it seems normal-79-89bpm-but it feels like a panic atack or something-for 12 hours!Last night I had an incredible headach along with it-i suffer migraines-but this was BAD-I ate some peanut butter and a banana and some fruit juice to see if eating would help-nothing-i haven't been starving myself by any means-and I'm not pushing too hard with excercise-anyone have any ideas??

Go to the hospital now. you could have blood pressure or arythmia problems even if itis a panic attack better safe then sorry!!!

What you describe sounds like palpitations, which is "feeling" your heart beat. Many, many things can cause this. Anything from exercise, taking too much caffeine, medications, to more serious problems such as arrhythmias. Chances are that it is not serious, but ONLY a physician can tell you. PLEASE go get checked.

I had something simular, I even went to the doctor, my heart rate was normal, as was my blood pressure. They literally couldn't find anything wrong with me! I couldn't sleep at night, it felt like my heart was beating really fast. Anyways, I somehow took Pepto Bismol, and that stopped everything. It ended up being an imbalance in my stomach. I quit all caffiene, and later found out I have a slight allergy to it. It all stopped.

So, definitely see a doctor to rule things out, and try eating really simple.. fruits, veggies, whole grains.. Thats what worked for me. Goodluck, hope you feel better soon!
