Core Menu for Thurs. 9/28

  • Bkfst: Hodgson Mills multigrain hot cereal (yum!) with blueberries--made with skim milk

    Morning snack: 2 hb egg whites

    Lunch: grilled salmon burger
    green beans
    1/2 Yukon Gold baked potato (prepped in microwave)

    Afternoon snack: cut up apples/oranges w/ff cottage cheese

    Dinner:
    soba noodles with edamame
    baked acorn squash
    broccoli rabe (I think I posted my tasty recipe for this)
    a piece of fresh fruit, if needed, for desert

    I know I am short 1 milk--maybe I'll treat myself to a ff Starbucks latte. I sure do miss my Starbucks mocha days, but don't like to spend the points. I only have 11 left until Sunday.

    Breakfast: Shredded wheat and bran, skim, banana, equal

    Lunch: Healthy Choice Split pea with ham soup

    Dinner: Lemon Garlic Chicken, oven fries, double serving of fresh broccoli

    Dessert: Chocolate Frosty Smoothie

    snack - yogurt
    lunch - lo shark, couscous salad and carrot sticks
    snack - apple or plum -brought both with me.
    dinner- saute pork, baked pot, veggies.
