  • It's hot and I want to look better in my swimsuit. So decided to create a challenge. A small one for me anyway. Maybe that'll help me keep on track. Anyone else can join and are welcome

    The challenge goes until August 1st. To lose as much as you want to try for.

    I want to lose 7 pounds.
    SW: 157
    Goal: 150.

  • OK what the heck. I've made myself a one month goal which ends on Aug 7 for 7 lbs so I'll say 5 lbs by AUG 1
    I've been losing pretty slow so I'm not shooting to high!

  • I really need this, I'm totally in! today I weighed 169 so on Aug 1 I want to have at least a 10 lb weight loss. so 159 on the 1st

    today:
    b: taco salad
    l: eggs
    s: nada

    and tons and tons of water and SOME kind of exercise
  • How's everyone doing with this challenge so far? I've been lurking here for inspiration...I am losing inches but not much in the way of weight, but I have my eyes on you for your success'.... keep at it!

    It's so hot here in Wisconsin...I don't even want to move to get dressed let alone exercise!

  • Hi Brenda, I would love to join this challenge. The beginning of Aug is when I start back to work (teaching), I would love to go back lower then when I left. I find challenges helpful. I am going to start another one, in addition to this one (100 days cheat free).

    My goal for Aug 1, is to be under 160. that will be a 7 pound loss for me.

  • well, I've had a 1 lb loss, I've cheated once but I've exercised every day so I consider it all good so far

  • Im in!!! Im not going to set a # of lbs to loose, just to loose them!! I guess the goal is to feel not so overstuffed in my own skin.

    Today's plan

    B~protein/fibre shake
    L~ eggs
    S~ chicken ceasar salad

    Snacks....dont know...I'll add them as I go.

    Exercise....I wont be going to the gym today, I promise myself to at the very least get out on the bike with dd and go for a ride.
  • WI today was good. Better than I expected. Lost 3 pounds!!! WAHOO!!

    I did pretty good yesterday, one little cheat. But Im ok with it. I got my exercise in, all my water in, and feel pretty good.

    Today's plan

    Breaky~ protien/fibre shake
    Lunch~ eggs
    Supper~ I dont know....but it wont be something hot
  • Congrats brenda! that's great! for some reason 3 lbs is SOOO much better than 2 lbs. for me it makes the difference of being bummed to being ecstatic!

  • ok 1 lb down 4 to go. I'm feeling ok about it because I didn't exercise like I should have and I lost 3 last week, so I didn't expect much. It's still possible to meet my goal if I kick it up a knotch!
