Default Garlic and Cheese Toasted Pita Wedges

This is a great substitution for garlic bread.

2 whole wheat pitas
½ c. mayo
1 tsp. Minced garlic or Tastefully Simple ‘Garlic Garlic’ (that’s what I use)
½ c. lowfat mozzarella cheese

Combine the mayo and garlic in a small bowl. Refridgerate for at least 10-15 minutes so the flavors combine. Cut each pita into 4 wedges (you will have 8 total wedges). Spread the mayo mixture on the top of each wedge. Place on a greased baking sheet (use cooking spray). Sprinkle cheese on top of each wedge. Place in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, then broil for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to turn brown. Serves 4.
