Just an idea: Music for Support.

  • Everyone has a favorite song but I want to know what song best represents you, think really hard! Then, go ahead and listen to them. Remember your favorite songs from the 80's? 70's? 60's? Here's a few songs I think represent me right now.

There's always something there to remind me - Naked Eyes

Knock on Wood - Ami Stewart

Music can really affect our mood. When you're feeling bad, turn up your favorite song and sing along! You'll feel like a dork and quite silly, but you'll love it! I promise!

  • Music can be key to making us feel stronger in whatever we are undertaking at the moment. For example, I once knew an attorney who had made herself a cd of the tunes that charged her up that she listened to while driving to court. I remember one of the songs was the Rocky theme song, the song that played when he was running up and down the stairs in front of Constitution Hall (I think that was the building). I often then of that song when I am getting ready for a stressful event, like a job interview (and I'm not even a Rocky fan, I've never watched one of the movies all the way through). However, that song really pumps you up!
