Mara, we're planning a Caribbean cruise in July. It'll be my fifth. I love cruising. Have you been before? Which line will you be on? Which ship? Which ports of call?

I've been on Celebrity Century three times (eastern and western Caribbean) and on the Zenith once (Bermuda). We have a huge group planned for next year, including a bunch o' teenagers, so we might have to do Carnival, which is cheaper. We haven't booked yet, as money is tight so the trip isn't 100 percent certain yet. I'm so excited for you! If you're a cruise newbie and have questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you.

SUPER FUN!!!!

Yes, I was on another Caribbean Cruise before - on Carnival - we ported in Puerto Rico - went to St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Cauriou (sp) and Aruba - it was fantastic AND Carnival's service is excellent!

This time we are going on Royal Caribbean and taking the kids!!!! We are porting out of Galveston - It's a 7 day cruise to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios.

This will be our 'big trip' for 2006, I'm about 90% certain that I'm going to book it within the next month or so. I think in 2007 we're going to do Walt Disney World and Cruise - definately have to save $$$$ for that one!

I like the cruises because it feels like you're on multiple vacations and we have a lot of fun!
