Monday Menu & Points

  • I know it's early, but I thought I would get this up there so we don't forget to post 'em!
  • I think I'll post as I go today since I'll be home all day. After going WAY over on points yesterday I'm trying to behave today.

    Breakfast:
    one packet flavored oatmeal: 3.3
    ice water: 0
  • So far, I've had:

    breakfast:
    WW ceareal and 1 cup skim milk- 3 pts

    lunch:
    hot pocket- 6
    FF Pringles- 2
    diet pepsi- 0

    Not a bad start for the day.
  • Monday Points
    Breakfast:
    1 cup Kellogg's Smartstart (3 pts)
    .5 cup skim milk (1 pt)

    Snack:
    1 cup canteloupe (1 pt)
    12 ounces mt. dew (3 pts.)


    Lunch:
    Lean Cuisine meal (4 pts.)
    apple (1 pt)

    Supper:
    Don't know yet--I'll have 9 points for the evening. Any suggestions?

    Supper will be a WW recipe I have in the crockpot right now (chicken breasts cooking in ketchup and diet coke). That's 4pts per serving. I really want to make mashed potatoes, so, I'm trying to find a low-cal version online. The mashed califlower everyone talks about sounds good, but, I don't have the right ingredients. We'll have a salad and/or steamed green beans along with that.

    If I stick with these plans, I'll probably have a few points left for a snack tonight... although right now I REALLY want another can of Mountain Dew, and I'm trying to hold off. So we'll see.
  • Wow, today is the first day since I started WW that I actually feel like I am dieting. I am soooo hungry and all out of points, flex points included!

    Well, here goes:

    B: Cheerios -- 3
    2 cups ff milk -- 4
    Coffee with creamer - 2


    L: WaWa spinach salad -- 7
    Dressing -- 1
    Strawberries with ff chocolate -- 3

    D: 6 oz "fake" crab -- 4
    1 cup peas -- 2
    Brummel and Brown -- 1
    1 slice bread w B&B -- 2

    S: yogurt -- 2 (still to come)

    Total: 31 (God, why is it soooo hard for me to stay under 30?)
  • I really wanted to stay closer to 28/29 area, but oh well. I am really going to try hard to NOT eat anything else tonight.

    Total – 5.5 pts

    Lunch
    2 pieces of bread – 2 pts
    1 slice of bologna – 1.5 pt
    1 brownie – 5 pts
    1.5 serving of pretzels – 1.5 pt
    2 tbl spoons of PB – 4 pts
    Total – 14 pts

    Dinner
    Chicken Alfredo – 10 pts (2 cups)
    2 slices of bread – 2 pts
    Total – 12 pts

    Total Points = 31.5

    L-ok, I was really hungry, carrot sticks was not a wise choice for snack!
    I made this into "mock McMuffins"( I had two of them!)

    2 pieces canadian bacon 2p
    swiss cheese 2p

    S-fudgcicle 1 & 1/2 p

    D- Lean Cuisine 5p
    lettuce, onion ZERO

    S- 1 cup ff ice cream 2p

    TOTAL 32 & 1/2 points so far, I have 3 more points left.

    I drank 5 liters of water today!
