Default questions about curves

I was wondering how many people workout at Curves. What kind of results did you get? How much is it a month? Is It worth the money? I am moving back with my parents for a few months so I need to find a new gym.

Thank you in advance for any help

Hey! I just thought I'd pop in and tell you what I know! I considered joining curves only to find out they have a 199 joiners fee, plus its 40 dollars a month. Thats here in Canada though, so it might be different in the USA. One girl I know who went to curves had GREAT results, she lost 50 pounds in a few months, combined with Weight Watchers. I hope it works out for you

I go to Curves- my joiners fee was $149 but since I was one of the first 100 to sign up it's $49. they have promotions like that all the time. Mine's $29 a month.

I get results!
The first month I went- 4-5x a week, lost 17.75 inches (gained weight though)
I've been going for 4 months and lost 28.5 inches and 10.75 lbs so far.

I definitely think it's worth the money- I've made friends and women that I can count on for their support. it's not hard, but as long as you stay within your target heart rate, you should definitely burn fat!

A concept like Curves is great for the beginning exerciser, because it heads off so many of the problems that keep overweight women from starting to exercise, plus it includes light strength training.

That's really interesting info about the owner... I'd never heard that before.
