Does anyone have any recommendations on how to use this forum? Specifically, what do you find helpful and motivating?
I just feel really alone in this. I'm in desperate need of a connection.

I find the easiest way is to go to "Quick Links" then "Today's Posts" and look at the active threads. Just post on one where a lot of people are interacting and start to get to know those people.
I literally just go through different threads that I find relatable and post/reply to others.
I find reading about someone else's weight loss journey inspiring and motivational. It's also nice to have a place to share your own successes and set-backs!
