  • So about a month ago I did low-carb for several days straight and ended up watching the scale go down 1 pound per day for a total of about 7 lbs Unfortunately I gained it all back with a period of a few days so I decided to try something else.

Recently I've added a lot of potatoes to my diet. 4 to 8 medium per day, baked. Low in calories, cheap, and satiating. Anyhow, I've been counting calories and for the first time ever, the scale is more or less exactly what it should read based on my calorie reduction. It's a linear weight loss reduction based on effort and I attribute this to the fact that I'm not losing water weight. Anyhow, I hope this can help others.
