I am grossly obese, BMI around 50. Even when my BMI was in the 30's I always had a feeling of my heart in my throat when I did cardio. It honestly is one of the reasons I even stopped trying. I am a nurse, I know it is not palpitations, I know my heart rate will rise when with exercise. It is not that. I do feel that my heart and I often give up early because I feel as if I am choking. Does that make sense? I can't find out any info about this, so I trying to see if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.
I would say that completely normal when you first start after a long break. Try doing some lighter exerciser first. Walking for exempel.
That is right. Your body is probably in shock during exercise so you should start with something light and after weeks, even a month or two, go with harder exercises. What exercises did you do?
