    Morning all! Pleasantly surprised this morning. TOM started yesterday and I'm definitely feeling it and also super sore muscles from daily strength training, so I should be holding on to a lot of water. I wasn't expecting my trend to continue through all that, but it did! At least for today.

    ophelia bummer that the sellers son got sick, I hope that it works out for you! Hopefully if your scale bounces back up, it is only a tiny amount. I am working so hard to get all my water in, but it is hard to do!!
  • Gardenerjoy: can you add me to the list please? I faced the scale this morning and am up to 140.0 lbs. I plan on losing 9lbs this month to make it down to my low of 131lbs (which I was at about 5 weeks ago). I'm hoping that a few of the lbs put on is water weight but we'll see. I'll be weighing in every few days instead of everyday so the scale doesn't mess with my head too much. Cheers everyone

    Just a quick check in...I'm up to my starting weight this morning

    I took my mum to the beach yesterday for a break (she has been in hospital since the 21st Dec, severely broken ankle and severed ligament) she was moved to aged card for some rehab after her operation, so it was lovely to be able to borrow a wheelchair and take a stroll.

    I am now burnt , didn't realise just how hot it was as there was a lovely cool sea breeze...just as well my mum is not burnt!!! I forgot to take water with me, hopefully this has (along with the frozen coffee and pasta for dinnerI had) contributed to my weight gain and that it will go away quickly. We are expecting 41deg celsius tomorrow (Sat), not looking forward to that, so really must get better at keeping my water in-take up.

    chub: I don't usually weight in daily for the same reason. I am trying for this challenge as I really want to get used to fluctuations and not have it mess with my head

    kfunk: It did! There are some cosmetic scrapes and such that we already knew about, and you can tell it will need a little lubrication done before we move it into the house (it is temporarily in the garage until we finally get all the Christmas stuff packed back up and away this weekend), but - otherwise - it seems to be in really good condition. It was from the gym here on post, so I know it has gotten a lot of use racked up on it, but I think it at will at least last us a few good years. The only reason the people who bought it from the gym were getting rid of it is because they moved into a smaller house - it took up almost half of their living room space! - and they had a couple younger kids that they needed to use the extra room in the back to seperate now that they were fighting toddlers, lol. So, I think we got lucky with the find. Time will tell!

    No weigh-in today, because my car had more issues after that fender bender that I'd gotten into than we realized and I had to get towed after a dentist appointment this afternoon due to our car no longer starting up. Hopefully, they will be able to figure out what the underlying concern is and get it fixed this coming week. For now, it's sitting at the shop. My husband came to pick me up, and we went out to lunch because it was almost 3pm by then, so I didn't get to do my weigh-in beforehand. That being said, we did end up swinging by to check out that elliptical while we were on that side of town, and we ended up going ahead and getting it. That sucker is heavy! But, I'm hoping that it will be a good backup plan when walking isn't a possibility. And, now I can even get in a workout in during the morning when I'm here with our youngest! So, that's a silver lining to the day, I guess...lol.

  • Not too surprised that i'm back up since that first days drop, however i've been doing great from mornings to late afternoon, but the evenings are the hardest and I usually fall apart. Trying to get that under control.

    Looks like the first week water weight drop continues as usual despite TOM. I'm not going to complain about that. In a bad mood today thought so going to go do my workout and hope that gets me out of my funk.

  • I'm off to a productive day so far. I got my gym time in first thing in the morning before starting on my list of errands. The errands are taking longer than anticipated and am starving. I've been eating the candies from my bag which is not good but it eases the hunger a tiny bit. I should be able to have lunch in 1-1.5 Hrs. Then I'll be sedentary for the rest of the day as I have a lot of catching up to do on my studying. Since I've already met my step goal for the day, I won't be feeling too guilty about the lack of activity for the rest of the day.
