  • So for most of my life, I've been obese. And let's not kid ourselves, morbidly obese. I was tired: physically, emotionally. I was unhappy with my appearance and hated being fat.
    So this January I started my weight loss journey at 256.4 pounds, a size 24, and 'women's' size shirts.

    Today I weighed in 145 pounds. I reached my goal!

    Now I'm a size 12, and can wear most things off the rack. Yay!

    6 small meals a day. I kept under a carb limit and now at the end of this week I'm going to start adding more foods back in slowly.

    Every time I hear that, I'm both ashamed and proud of myself.

    Ashamed that I weighed so much that I lost enough to lose a person, and proud that I stuck with it to LOSE that person!
