Hi all!
Renee - Hold on - you know you can do this, so if you need to stay steady for a bit, then plow on again, maybe that is what you need to do. If you are not gaining, that is good, but even if you are gaining some, try to figure out what you are doing that is so different from when you were losing so well and see if you can get back on track
This happens to all of us at some point - I know it can be so frustrating
Last weighed Friday morning and was down .8 to 148.2.
My daughter has been pregnant, but it is not her baby - she is a surrogate for a couple from France (surrogacy is illegal there). The parents were booked to fly over at the beginning of December, as she was book for a c-section for Dec. 8. However, that little boy had different plans and her water broke early Friday morning, and he was born 27 looong hours later - she managed a natural childbirth even though she had a c-section with her own daughter!!
I am so proud of her for giving this beautiful gift to this couple for nothing but the joy of seeing them with their baby (it is illegal in Canada to get paid for surrogacy). The mother managed to find a flight and arrived about 12 hours after the baby was born, and the father will come as soon as he gets some business ends tied up and can find a flight.
Baby is healthy and beautiful, and my daughter is doing great and is beautiful too!!
I was part of her labour team, along with two of her friends, and we ate fast food, and didn't get much water, and no sleep.
I am feeling the effects of the last 3 days - my fingers are so puffy I can't make a fist - but things have settled down now, and I will drink my water, cook my own food, and I am hopefully I will lose all this swelling. It is strange how not drinking enough water swells you up - you would think it would be the opposite!
I will be focusing on getting back on plan this week, and hope everyone else has a great and positive week!!
