  • Pixi - you know they try to hide sugar in anything these days...a friend here even puts them in her deviled eggs, which she didn't tell me until after I ate two of them I'm amazed at how many carbs something has when I think it's low carb ...

    Thanks Ali - I'm definitely gonna pick up some chicken broth today to help me out ...I won't shy away from putting salt on everything I eat too...just for the first few days anyway.
    And good job on the loss !!!!

    I'm starting fresh today ...and hoping to still meet my goal for July 4th !!!

    I looked at my food journal and realized it also could have been because my fat was LOWER than my protein that day. So it might have been that, either way, I used the stick again last night and it read at trace amounts so whatever it was apparently didn't effect me for long.

    Sugar in deviled eggs?!?!?! wtf!! why? that sounds gross, i like mine very mustardy and tangy
  • LOL Pixi - I'm a fan of sweet deviled eggs!

    I make mine with Splenda and SF Sweet Pickle Relish too Usually I find that's a Southern (USA) thing - but we tend to sweeten everything! HA!

    I even add sugar (Spelnda now) to my cole slaw.

    Now, I realize just how much sugar I was consuming on a daily basis and I haev usually well under the 3 packets of artifical sugar a day - but it's amazing to me how much sweeter things to do taste to me - even in regular foods and I can pick up on actual sweet taste that before I never did.
