  • I would like to do a yearly goal challenge... It is open to anything that you wish to accomplish for this 1 year period... Or from when you decide to start and to end 12/31/14. Keep track as often as you wish. No rules. Daily, weekly, monthly or just 1/1 AND 12/31 What ever you wish!


    I am planning on losing 67 lbs this year. That is 5.5 lbs a month. Sounds reasonable. Tho 3 months last year I only lost 4 lbs. So if I lose more upfront I can have those "holiday" months LOL Well Maybe not! I will post a weekly weight and a total monthly loss

    2/26 236.2 (-7.6 total) shoot I still have 3.7 to get rid of in 2 days .. Can I?? lol

    3/12 234.8 (+1.6) total lost = 9.0 grrrr
    3/19 229.8 (-5.o) total lost = 14.00
    3/26 230.6 (+.8) total lost - 13.2 booo

    March Total Loss: 232.2 (-1.6 for the month, -11.6 total 55.4 lbs to go!)

    4/2 229.4 (-2.8) total lost = -14.4 Yeah!
    4/9 228.8 (-.6) total lost = -15.0 yeah!
    4/16 225.4 (-3.4) total loss = 18.4 hooray!
    4/23 230.6 (+5.2) total loss = 13.2
    4/30 224.8 (-5.8) Total loss = 19.0 Yipee!
    April Total Loss: 224.8 (-7.4 for the month and -19 total 48 lbs to go!) 6 lbs a month!

    5/7 222.2 (-2.6) total loss -21.6 so far!
    5/14 228.00 (+5.8 total loss - 15.8 boooo)
    5/21 228.4 (+.4 = Total loss -15.4 sad)
    5/28 224.00 (-4.4 and total loss -19.8 getting closer to that lowest no!)
    May Total Loss: 221.8 (Month totals = loss - 3 lbs and -22 total 45 lbs to go!)

    6/4 220.6 (-1.2 = Total loss 23.2)
    6/11 218.8 (-1.8 = Total loss 25.0 )
    6/18 218.8 (-0.00 = Total loss 25.0 ) gotta get MORE off!!! way behind the 8 ball here!

    My goal for 12/31/14 is to comfortably fit a size 12, to be 170 or less, to be healthy and fit.

    I started the year at 225.4.

  • Hey Sue!!! I think I will try to weigh here on the 1st of every month. I am starting at 244.6 and I want to get to 190. That is an average of barely over a pound a week. If I manage to hit that early I will recalculate based on how much time is left. I do measurements on the first sunday of the month so I will post those too on Sunday the 5th
  • I want to lose 13 lbs. by March 28, my doctor's appt. He didn't like that I gained so much weight in a year.

  • I'm really hoping to get into maintenance by this time next year....where ever that ends up being. I originally thought I'd be happy at 77kg then I thought 73 then 72 now I'm thinking 70 though I haven't even hit 72 or 73 yet!!! I'm hoping this will help me stay on track during 2014. There's going to be long stretches of time where I'll be travelling and won't have access to a scale but for now I'm going to set it up as a weekly weigh in.

  • I'm starting out at 167 and want to be 150 or less by June 2014 and to stay at 150 or less for the rest of my life. I don't want to bounce around anymore, especially back to anywhere near 170!

    Changergirl Traveling is tough on the body (But it sounds like you do this traveling thing) so not to worry about posting if you are not near a scale. This is a yearly thing and when you can weigh in will show your progress

  • Looks like there's a couple of us here that are hoping 2014 is the year we get into maintenance, hopefully this will help us stay on track.

    wannaskipandlaugh thanks for organizing this, I know I'll definitely need it. I do travel quite a bit as I currently live in S.Korea so whenever there's a short holiday I leave. However this is the year I'm finally getting out of here and at the end I'll be travelling for 2 months straight which I've never done. And parts of it will be on the Trans-siberian railway where my only form of exercise may be walking up and down the train! I haven't heard great things about the healthy options available to eat either. Oh well. I'm hoping to get lower than I need/want before I go so gaining won't be as much of a problem. Who knows if that'll work.

    My weight's been yo-yoing this week (I think sodium is to blame) so I'm hoping for the best for tomorrow's weigh-in.
  • Oh my gosh Changergirl... What a life you lead! Stressful but exciting. Walking the train! I used to do that when I took the train into Chicago but that was a short trip. Trans Siberian trip... Gosh I can't wait to hear about your travels and the sites and people you are going to meet!
