  • I have been on and off my plan since May. I did really good for the first few months of the year but life got in the way and I lost control and have not been able to stay on track since. I have finally reached my limit and my all time highest weight (235.6). I am ready to get back on track and take better care of my body. I am totally miserable and I know that the only way to change this is to eat right and exercise and get my weight down.

I am challenging myself to stay on track one day at a time. Today is the first day and I am going to have a great day.

Here is what my day will be like...

  • Hey girl! Long time no talk! I've found my way back, gosh probably after a year or so away. To say the least things have not been going well for me either. I've put back on a lot of weight.

I'm hoping to get motivated to get back on the right track again, so of course I came back to 3FC.

Saw your thread and just wanted to say way to go! You're doing great so far. =)
  • Hi Kim

Yes it has been a while and I'm glad to see you back. It has been a rough year for me with my weight. I started a new job that is very stressful and food has been my way of dealing with it. It was so hard to get back on track but after pigging out on a cruise and being so miserably overweight, I decided that I was ready to get it together.

Just take it one meal at a time and before you know it, you'll have a day, then two, three and so on under your belt. You have been successful in the past and I know you can do it again. Let me know how your first day goes.

    YOU CAN DO IT!!!

  • GettinFit, great job!!! My plan is very different from yours. Most of what you eat, I wouldn't be able to eat. Plus, staying on plan for me includes a cheat day each week, but I want you to know that I am following your thread here, and I am so impressed with your determination and accountability! I'm sure you are an inspiration for many, and I won't be surprised if you have quite a few join you when the new year begins! Way to go! Keep going!!!
  • Awhhh, Thanks Jacqui. This time around I'm taking it one day at a time. I've learned from the past that I need the daily accountability so this thread has been great for me. I have tried so many diets but this time, I'm just trying to focus on eating less and exercising. I'm sure I'll be working in some cheat days along the way too.

I hope you have a great year

    BTW, I love your avatar!!
