  • As of recently, I can cross my legs, and believe me, it is well-worth waiting for!

When I am thinner, I look forward to:

    1. Knitting myself a lovely sweater.
    2. Shopping in those adorable vintage clothing stores -- I would love to wear some of those cute beaded cardigans from the 1940s and 1950s. People were smaller then!
    3. Wearing a great pair of black knee-high boots. I worry about this one. My calves resemble ham-hocks and it is hard to imagine them ever changing.

    Great thread
  • When I am thinner, I look forward to:

    1) Buying my clothes in regular stores.
    2) Going on an airplane without the fear of being charged for a 2nd seat.
    3) Fitting into nice bras.
    4) Doing a pinup girl photo shoot without embarrassment.
  • ...I'm going skydiving without worrying about being over the weight limit
...doing a boudoir shoot for the BF...but also for me!
...Buying clothes because the looks good, not because they fit!
  • When I am thinner, I look forward to:

    1) buying bras in cute colors with matching panties
    2) wearing shirts that don't come down to my thighs and that may even show my belly if I lift my arms
    3) learning how to surf on our second honeymoon in Hawaii
    4) living a long, healthy, sexy life with my husband (he is on IP too)
  • - surprise my family late next month (I will be 60+ pounds lighter than when they last saw me and I stopped giving them updates)
    - definitely lights on with the boyfriend
    - possibly wear a bikini in April in St. Maarten when I meet boyfriend's family for the first time but, regardless, feel more confident in a bathing suit
    - feed myself better, understanding what my body desires more than I did before
    - confidently wear business suits for work
    - run as a lighter person (!!)
    - run 2 1/2 marathons in the year after losing weight
    - start hula class
  • 1. Tuck in all my shirts
    2. Not be self conscious of my stomach over hanging my pants
The biggest thing I'm looking forward to
    3. Lying on my side in bed and not having my stomach flop over.

  • When I am thinner I look forward to...
-Wearing cute jeans & tight little t-shirts instead of the loose shirts & sweat pants I wear now.
-Buying sexy lingerie & not being embarrassed to model it for my hubby.
-No more embarrassment while out in public (I feel like everyone is looking & saying "damn she's fat!")
-The overall well being & self confidence that comes with being thin & healthy!!
  • When I am thinner I look forward to...
    -Feeling proud of accomplishing this!
-Cutting my hair short (because I'll finally be able to pull it off)
-Dating again (since I'll have the confidence I'll need)

  • When I am thinner, I look forward to:

1- Tucking a shirt into my jeans and actually seeing the belt I'm wearing.

2- Going jogging without my Man Boobs and stomach jiggling out of control.

3- Not hearing anyone speak to me using the term Big Man.
  • When I am thinner, I look forward to:
    1. Having a bath towel actually wrap around me
    2. Keeping up with my three year old grandson without getting exhausted in fifteen minutes
    3. Not being so self conscience when i have to "squeeze" by people whether in church or at sporting events
  • When I am thinner

*I will wear my pink bikini & have my photo taken in it
    *I will enjoy being skinny
  • @Deana - Love this one: "being able to GET hugs where someone picks you up and spins you around."

Things I look forward to when I'm thinner:

    * I can not wait to alleviate this awful back (and neck) pain of mine

    * I will learn to shred the mountains on my new snowboard (carefully)

    * My self confidence will soar, I will take steps to challenge myself more and understand that my capabilities are limitless (with or w/out the extra lbs')

    * I will have energy to last throughout the day to spend with family & friends and not be such a grump; I will be a genuinely positive person, look people in the eye AND smile A LOT more

    * I will go out in the world more (not hide out) and find my Prince!

    ...
