  • I meant to post this the other day and I have no idea how I forgot.

As most of you know, I'm on a medically supervised diet and see my medical team every week for weigh in, vitals, bloodwork as necessary, and just pretty much an overall wellness check.

The nurse was going over my chart with me and while we were discussing my progress (since I had a woosh 2 weeks in a row!), she told me if I walked in off the street today to do this diet that I wouldn't qualify for it as my weight is too low! (I would qualify for other help from their office but not this level of supervision and monitoring.)

I have never been too light of a weight for anything, esp. my diet! But I can stay in it now as I'm grandfathered in because of my starting weight (phew, never knew that weight would be good for anything!).

Me. Too light. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. Maybe it's just a bittersweet smile?
  • wow!!! congratulations on the NSV! but I can understand how that whole scenario would throw you for a bit of a loop...are you going to stay on that plan or transition to something else?

Thanks Alaskan! I'm staying on it for a few more pounds, I'm trying to get as low as I can and since I'm consistently losing they will allow me to. (If I stopped losing or started cheating with "bad" food then I'd have to make some changes in my plan to accommodate and protect my weightloss.)

My goal is to get pregnant as soon as possible and as soon as I do, the nutritionist will start me on a higher calorie diet (even though it scares me, it's the healthiest thing to do!).

I want to get down to 160 if I can but pregnancy is the preferred diet break I want to take.
