  • Can I join you guys? Do I just have to post my weigeht for every day in November I actually don't have an at-home scale yet. I'm looking at getting one. Does anyone have any recommendations on an accurate, reasonably priced brand? I don't need bodyfat or anything like that.

    The one I invested in a while back was a Tanita. They're really accurate and mine has always been dependable for me. There's a million different models with varying gizmos and special features, but I purchased a pretty standard one that runs off of solar power. It's nice because you never need batteries, just a light in your bathroom will power it up. I believe they go for $50-$60? Link here.

    I've had mine for about a year, it's just a cheap "taylor" brand. seems to work fine. wish i had better advice for you, but if body fat % or your scale keeping track for you doesn't matter much..you can find basic ones on the cheap! check target, walmart, bed bath, etc...

    edit: LOL based on the reviews most people seem unhappy with it..so maybe don't go for this one! hahaha. so far, so good for me though.
  • Okay, I got antsy and just bought a scale off Amazon. It had great reviews and was $55 with shipping. It's an Ozeri. No bodyfat or anything like that but to be honest, I don't really care about that. Unless I'm paying big $ for a high quality scale there's no way BF will be accurate..and even then, it's probably not that accurate. I just want to see my weight.

    I am excited. Is that weird? I probably won't be as excited when I see the number on it. LOL.
