  • Today I am grateful for

    + my garden which is starting to produce veggies as well as flowers

    + William who has given me lots of flowers to plant in the Village

    + my sister whom I don't see often enough

    + finally finding fish I enjoy

    + puppies - although I am stiffening my resistance muscle.
  • Thanks, Ruthxx, for getting us started!

    - a GREAT food day... until about 10:00 pm, when I ate extra. I am grateful for the willingness to make it a healthy day, mostly.

    - DH is almost done with the stepping stones - they look great and are nice to look at too.

    - rained all night.. we needed it (the flowers are 'smiling' this morning - the farmers too.

    - friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, music, cell phone, internet

    - interesting containers with little sedum growing bring me such pleasure.
  • I am grateful for the hard things I have gone through that taught me just how strong and determined I am. I am grateful for the people in my life. I am really grateful this bad haircut is not shorter and more chopped up than it could be:-)
  • It's cold and raining hard this morning and I am most grateful for my cozy warm house and hot coffee.
  • - mostly, a healthy food day - grateful for that

    - DH did lots of weeding and gardens look so 'tidy'

    - talked to my sister

    - friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, cell, internet, music

    - stretches and strengthening exercises are helpful

    - learning new things everyday
  • Grateful for:

    - finally making peace with my body

    - my mom, family, friends, 3FC

    - motivation to keep working towards my goals
  • - a healthy food day Saturday - so grateful for that

    - DH replanted the garden bed that we totally took out to work on the overgrown weeds. It looks nice!

    - neighbors and little children came over for a campfire & smores. We told campfire stories - I told some not scary ghost stories. Then they made up their own. Fun stuff!

    - I planned to eat one s'more and that is what I ate. Grateful for that and the willingness to send the ingredients home with one family

    - loving the new garden paths

    - family, friends, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell, music

    - used cherry wood in the campfire... I smell like a sweet smoked ham. LOL Love the smell of a campfire.
  • + once again glad of a rainy day when I can just chill a bit

    + breakfast at the Diner with Jane and Hal - we seldom get one on one time

    + four loads of laundry washed dried, folded and put away

    + survived the trauma of buying a bathing suit yesterday

    + got the financial report done for my quilters' meeting in record time which will ease Monday's morning stress

    + bought a dessert for tonight's Girls' Dinner without having to make one this afternoon

    + a rainy afternoon is great for a quick nap
  • - willingness to follow my plan (at least until 2am) I am grateful for any time that I have food sanity

    - yesterday was wonderful weather

    - Alex said, "Mom, let's turn the TV off and just watch Maya smile" What a sweet big brother. (Considering he doesn't get to watch a lot of television!)

    - hose has different flows... so helpful
  • - Mom and I started our plan to walk together every evening

    - get to enjoy the full moon, it's so beautiful

    - had a healthy eating day yesterday

    - can enjoy the birds singing in the orange tree outside my window

    - family, friends, all the chicks
  • + lovely nap yesterday afternoon

    + dentist moved my appointment to today, clearing my Thursday for me

    + caught up on May postings in the Mill accounts

    + the rain has meant no need to water Village plantings

    + today is supposed to be sunny so I may get the last few planters done
  • - finally, a really all around healthy day- I am grateful

    - Mike said Alex 'read' him a book last night. He said that even though most of it was from memory.... it was so joyful.

    - glad Mimi gave permission to cut down the one tree that totally shaded our veggie garden. It was all broken and misshapen from a snow storm a few years ago and kept saying she wanted to take it down. She was grateful, actually.

    - my online friends from around the world

    - tomatos and peppers planted
  • - had a good night's sleep

    - have plenty of energy today from eating and exercising healthy yesterday

    - orange tree has lots of oranges and singing birds in it

    - we'll have lemons soon

    - got to spend time with my Mom

    - family, friends, all the chicks
  • -have a great husband
    -have a great job
    -one my best friends was hired on to my team last week after 2 years of unemployment and underemployment
    -have a great family
    -little brother is coming to visit from across the country on Friday!
