  • How's everyone doing so far? I had 1 fail day this week because I got sick, but when I felt better the next day I did a 5 mile run whoop whoop! Had a moment on that run where it hit me how far I've come in my fitness and weight loss and I felt like fist pumping the air!
  • That's awesome, 5 miles is my next goal! I know what you mean also, losing weight is one thing, but when you achieve real fitness goals it gives an added dimension. Even though I'm not as slim as I'd like yet, I love that running can still make me feel good about myself, because I have this healthy strong body.

    I am really liking being able to log my exercise. I've been on this site for years and not once participated in one of these group type challenges.
  • Doing awesome! This has been a serious challenge for me - I'm usually fairly active but I was very sick for about four months earlier this year and lost most of my stamina. It's amazing to me how fast it's coming back and how much stronger I'm feeling already after just a few weeks or regular exercise.

    Looking forward to keeping it up!!!

  • The weather is really getting me down atm! It feels like England has done nothing but rain for weeks! So not what you need for running :P I can't wait to enjoy some early morning runs in the sunshine.
  • superromeo-I LOVE hiking. Is there a lot of good hiking near you?

  • @ Seren: I can realte to that, it was pretty gloomy here in PA for a while but the sun has come out (not tomorrow!) but today. ^_^

    @ Dotting: ...I have never actually GONE hiking (unless you count when I was a wild woods child) so I have no idea what is near me. I need to start exploring but I am sure there is lots cause I live in the middle of PA where we have nothing but hills, bears, deer and trees. lol
