Can you believe that it's already March? Only 2 weeks left in our challenge. Let's make them count!!!
  • Hello, everyone. Congratulations to Team 2 and to Jessica with 6 lbs!!! WOW.

I'm going to try to be out of the 170s by the end of this challenge. Don't know if that will happen in 2 weeks but I'm a gonna try.
  • Hiya ladies, well as awesome as that weight loss was -- I just found out I am 3 weeks pregnant

I am guessing that is why I lost so much weight...hormones or something! However, now that I know what is going on with my body...I'm going to have to give up on the weight loss dream for awhile. Still going to continue working out and eating healthy, but going to up my calories to a healthy level. So with that being said, I should probably drop out of the challenge?
  • Congratulations jessicado!!!! I have 5 children, so if you have any questions I can pretend I know the answer!
You can calorie count while pregnant. definitely speak to your ob/gyn. I managed to keep my diet habits clean when pregnant with dd#3. I did not gain a lot of weight. but the baby was over 9 pounds.
So staying away from high calorie low nutritious foods will work in your favor.
  • how do i join this challenge. I am a vegan
  • Hi Lucinda. This challenge will be over on March 17 in less than 2 weeks. Hopefully, Twish will start a new one after that. But I'm sure no one will mind if you visit until a new challenge starts.
  • retiredone: you can do it! you are SO close...

jessicado22: congratulations!!! please stay with us until the end or we'll miss you here...

lucindaarrowspark: Welcome! Please stay tuned. If there is interest in starting another challenge, I will gladly do it.
  • yes! another challenge, please.
  • Jessica, if I could lose 6 lbs by getting pregnant I'd try. (I'll be 60 this year, LOL, LOL). Congratulations on your little bump.

Twish, I would be so happy if you would set up another challenge. A little accountability is good for me.

I've been eating really well since the weekend and I hope it shows in the scales tomorrow. The only trouble may be I haven't done much exercise as my lower back muscles have been in a spasm since Tuesday...sigh... This happens with no apparent reason causing the spasm. Yesterday, I basically sat or lay down the whole day. Today, I have been up but bending over has been painful. I try to bend my knees as much as I can but bending knees is not as easy as it used to be, LOL.

Catch you all in the weigh in.
  • I like the challenge. If there was another one, I'd be in. It helps me to stay focused.
    Congrats Jessica!
  • 242.6 today! This has been my best week in awhile... Maybe I'll be able to get out of the 240s before the end of the challenge...
  • Darn it! I am at 188. gain of 2 lbs.
  • Same as last week! 173.5

Thought I'd lose something. Oh, well it should show up by next week.
  • Thanks so much ladies! If you don't mind me staying I will weigh myself tomorrow then. Sorry, forgot this morning (haven't stepped on the scale since I found out!) It is really hard to adjust my eating habbits now...I keep having to remember I need to eat more now.

I am going to try to not gain any weight with this pregnancy. Last one I gained 100 pounds, but I had a medical condition that accounted for about half of that. The other half was accounted for by all the pizza and ice cream I ate So anyways, going to try and not repeat that this time!
  • Sorry...up 2.5 pounds. (245)
