Also, as I'm sure you can tell. I like to make things pretty and organized. I'm hoping that'll keep me going!
Exercise Goal:
- Wear a pedometer everyday.
- Take the stairs to math class everyday 6 stories up, unless its a day I have sculpture which in the basement, then its 7 flights. Oh and carrying a 15lb+ backpack plus possibly another bag carrying a 10lb+ sculpture.
- Walk the 8 blocks from school to pick up the bus home rather than taking another bus and transferring. A little nervous about this one, I live in Minnesota and its almost deep freeze time. And again with the same backpack and possible sculpture.
- Register for a fitness phys ed class for next semester. Gotta get the credits anyways.
Weight Goal: (181/169/163 by January 29) I weigh myself every Sunday morning.
Health/Wellness goal: At the end of December I'm going to a 4 day Christian conference. We stay at the downtown Hilton (REALLY NICE! But really tall!). They recommend, because there is 1600+ college students, that we take the stairs to and from our rooms. Last year it nearly killed me. I want to be able to do it this year, no problem.

11/1 I walked 2.5 miles to and from the dollar store. Plus I walked 13 blocks to the bus after class. Usually it's only 8 blocks but I had a bathroom detour. Stairs were taken to math(6 stories), UGH! (that ugh is more for math than the stairs ) My step count for the day was 9,570.
11/2 I walked a lot: 33 blocks! Normally I'll take a bus that will knock out maybe 25-30 of those blocks. I took the stairs once again, go me! My step count for the day was 9,100. I also threw in some old belly dance exercises this evening. Haha, I was changing into my PJs and caught myself in the mirror and started trying out the old exercises I used to do.
11/3 Okay, wow, I hurt so much and not from exercise. I could barely get out of bed this morning because every time I shifted my neck or shoulders it nearly made me cry. Actually I think I did cry. But that didn't stop me from exercising today. I even impressed myself! I walked a total of 42 blocks today!! I also climbed a total of 13 stories. First was 3 stories up for an advising session. Next after a long walk to the library I climbed to their 4th floor. Then I climbed to the 5th floor (it's actually the sixth story because the first floor counts as two). My total step count for the day was 11,795!!!

11/6 Weight Day (CW:175 GW:178)
11/7 I did decent enough for the crappy day I've had. Just one of those crappy college days when all of your classes seem to align with either major projects due or exams. I had a sculpture project and a math exam today. Total steps for the day: 6,255.
11/8 I did alright today. I've been busy working on crafts this past week and I guess I'm not realizing how much I sit during those times. My total steps were 5,230. Some of those were well earned speed walking steps though. I never realized that you could walk at a speed where it would actually feel like a relief on your calves to run! I got out of math class early today and I was determined to make it to the bus stop (normally only 9 blocks, but today I zigzagged to avoid getting stuck waiting to cross at red lights) in 10 minutes or less so I could take the early bus home.
11/9 Nothing too exciting to report. Total steps came in at 7,180. Also, I am just dying to weigh myself!! One of the differences about my weightloss journeys in the past was that I would weigh myself daily. That would result in obsessive freakouts about the usual daily fluctuations. So this time I am only allowing myself to weigh in on Sundays. I hate waiting!
11/10 Steps: 5,850...I have a lot on my mind today.
11/11 Steps: 4,000 but I was doing a lot of raking today so I'm going to say well exercised.
11/12 It was an okay day. My steps came in only at 2,867. However, about half of that came from bouncing. Not jumping because your feet leave the ground when you jump. This was actual bouncing. I did while going through a couple of catalogs on the kitchen counter. My calves were killing me!! I also did a number of lunges too. I don't know how many because I was reading the Crate & Barrel holiday catalog while doing them. I also cleaned the kitchen and scrubbed the microwave.
11/13 Weight Day (CW: 174.5 GW:177) Not happy with my measurements. I went up from last week which caused me to look back at this week. I've really slacked. My weight may have dropped a bit but I'm looking more for inches lost. Weight loss without inches lost could mean that I'm losing muscle not fat, so I need to step it up and exercise more! Tomorrow I will be starting JM 30 Day Shred. I told my mom that if she wants to do it with me then she can wake me up early and we can do it before she leaves for work, but if I wake up and she's already gone I'll be doing it anyways. Not sure if that made any sense at all but I'm falling asleep while typing. Steps for the day: 6,243.
11/14 Started 30 Day Shred today. Dang, JM is hardcore. Well, it doesn't help that I am incredibly out of shape either. Hehe! My step count, not including workout (my pedometer was in the way) came to 6,152.
11/15 but oh so Did 30DS but I wound up in the ER tonight and I'm just not feeling too good. The meds I was on were giving me a high and now they're wearing off and I'm crashing. I'm supposed to follow up with my Primary doctor tomorrow. I'm just gonna take it easy for awhile because I have no energy.
11/16 I guess my abs are getting a different kind of workout tonight. I hate being sick!!

11/20 Weight Day (CW:173 GW:176)
11/21 FINALLY, a day where I at least did something. Still taking it easy until I know how my body will adjust to my new med dosage. I will for sure start 30DS again next Monday assuming all goes well healthwise. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do a full cardio with these meds...at least make it into my target heart rate for a cardio exercise. I took the stairs today (7 flights) and my hr monitor said I only got up to 124 bpm. That's like my resting heart rate without the meds. So anyways, my total steps for today came to: 7,900.
11/22 I should do the sad face because I didn't try, but I also wanted a craft day. So, I will accept the consequences for sitting on my a** all day because I quite enjoyed it.
11/23 Steps: 7,170
11/24 Today my only real exercise was basketball and a mean game of kickball and laughing, lots and lots of laughing!!
11/25 Walked to the transit center (I think 2 miles, maybe?). After taking the wrong bus, I finally got to the shopping center and did a little late morning Black Friday shopping. I pretty much took care of my Christmas shopping and bought some craft supplies for me. Then I walked back home from the transit center. All in all, my total steps came to...*drumroll*...9,517. Most I've had in 21 days.
11/26 Steps: 3,396. I was on my feet all day cooking but all I did for exercise was walk to the store a couple blocks away, twice.
11/27 Weight Day (CW:172 GW:174) I did the Wii Fit for a bit in the morning but I ate so much last night that it doesn't get the awesome grinning smilie.
11/28 Wii Fit plus 9,676 for steps.
11/29 Wii Fit plus 8,400 for steps.
11/30 Wii Fit plus 16,455 for steps. That's right, I walked that many!
