TODAY....
11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
Hebrews 12:11 [NIV]
"The meek shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise the Lord that seek
Him; (and) your heart shall live forever." Psalm 22:26
One of my favorites....
He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God. Michah 6:8
Here's a comforting promise ...
Hebrews 2:18 ~ "For in that He Himself (Jesus) hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour* them that are tempted."
*Succour means to relieve, to help, or to rescue (us). This is so encouraging becuz this means that we can turn to Him to help us; relieve us; or rescue us when we are tempted.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage;be not frightened, neither be dismayed;for the Lord God is with you wherever you go". Joshua 1:9
