  • SARGE'S COOTIE FREE HAPPY PLACE INTERACTIVE PLAYROOM!!!!!!

I joined 3FC seriously on 1/1/11, have lost 68 lbs./30%, and have assembled a platoon, a group who gives 110% every day to achieving their weight loss goal. Some of the ladies nicknamed me Sarge, so Sarge it is!

--Please join if you're serious about dropping pounds and melting your "BUTT-er" (that's a salute to Private MadamGooey).

--Please join if you want daily motivation to achieve your goal. Sarge has plenty of time to keep an eye on you!

--Please join if you want Sarge and the platoon to scream in your face like Jillian Michaels on Biggest Loser because that's what you're gonna get if you don't meet your goal each week!

--Please join if you understand the definition of challenge, "...a call to engage in a contest, fight, or competition," THIS IS YOUR LIFE YOU'RE FIGHTING FOR!

--DON'T join if you're gonna bring excuses!

--DON'T join if you're a daily scale watcher or only looking for company to share details about your daily life, pets, cra*py job, and other pity-party themes.

--DON'T join if your head isn't in it yet. We'll be here to embrace you with well-toned arms when you're ready.

--DON'T join if you're overly sensitive to comments like "step away from the buffet!"

--DON'T join if you want to discuss anything other than get this freaking weight off of me! Sarge is type A personality. Excuses and reading touchy-feely stuff makes Sarge's eyes bleed! There are many other threads on 3FC that offer loads of "soft" support and make you feel it's ok to slack on your weight loss efforts. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE THREADS!

RULES: IT'S EASY! Simply make Sarge a promise each Sunday by posting a pledge to lose a certain number of pounds the following week then DO IT! New Privates encouraged to join any Sunday!

Newbie posts should look like this: Hi Sarge, I'm new! I promise to lose ___ pounds next week!

ALL ARE WELCOME (including men)...any age, any amount of weight to lose. Say "Yes, Count Me In Sarge!" Do it, you know you want to, then drop and give me 20 minutes of exercise!

  • Nice job Chickadee. I have no doubt that you will crush this plateau into smithereens.

    Great job everyone!
  • Thanks, Josey and K3. It's SOOOOO close. I'm definitely making it this week!

I hope everyone has a great day!
  • I did not make it to the gym this morning. It was one of those days I really needed my workout partners as motivation to show up and get started...but they texted cancelling before I had enough momentum to carry me through. Now I have to try to make it up later in the day, which throws off having today as one of my three planned double dip days for the week.

So, I am here to pledge that I will get there this evening and at least get in weights and at least one of the two cardio sessions I had planned for today (swim or run).

Congrats to all the big losers last week!
  • SARGE SIR...thanks for all the number crunching!!! yeah, i made it another week!! WOOT WOOT!! BLACK OPS STRONG BABY!!!

sindaena....thats the way to make a plan!! now make it happen!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

K3....way to knock those 70's outta-da-park!!! and swing into those lovin' 60's baby!! OH YEAH!!!

iamerican you are such a good cheerleader!!!

josey...how u be doin' there gf??

ennay...having a good week so far???

LETS ALL STAY BLACK OPS STRONG AND MAKE IT A GOOD WEEK AND WIN THAT TITLE AGAIN!! WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!
  • Sindaena--REACHING THRU VIRTUAL WORLD TO SLAP YOU UPSIDE THE HEAD!!! You know you can did deep to find the motivation to get those workouts in on your own. There is no depending on others to make it happen for you!!!!! Get those double dip days in...and btw, Sarge loves that phrase... "double dipping" workouts!

Sarge done with first workout, but will punish self more later.

THANK YOU BLACK OPS for allowing Sarge to pass on eating crow and pigeon this week! Mad props to getting done on your own...or at least with your inner-Sarge's screaming in your ears. Beyond the weekly losses I'm convinced it will be all Black Ops players talking to one another on the BL threads by the end of the game because WE GOT STAYING POWER!

Rainbow--So happy you've found your groove again. I'm sure you've already got your black ops shirt laid out for tomorrow nite!

Pokey Party this week!!!! Make sure to RSVP!

Josey, K3, Rainbow and others who continue to dole out the accolades. Thank you for keeping the applause meter cranked up. Sarge is all about the getting it done because that is what your supposed to do for yourself but also realizes everyone loves to be acknowledged for a job well done!

Anon--Beyond spreadsheet goddess...OUTSTANDING LOSS THIS WEEK!
  • @Rainbow - Doing great, thanks!!! So pumped after the hugh loss yesterday :-)

@Sarge - We learn from the best! :-)
  • Checking in for the night.
I have to say I've been slumping these last two weeks. Work is quite stressful...but blah blah blah to all that.

I still managed to keep some kind of weight loss going. A little at a time.

Did get in about a 4 mile run tonight. Yay. Ate my fruits/veggies and working on some water right now.

Just have to keep at it. I know the Platoon will be there to get some good motivation from.
  • tRSVPing to Pokey's ONE-DER-LAND PARTY!!!
