  • The Turtles Biggest Loser Challenge:

    I am totally up for the competition so just to recap so I am sure I understand:
    • Exercise 3 Times a Week
    • Eat within our points/calories
    • Give support to the group
    • Keep a food journal
    • Try 1 new meal/recipe every week (on plan)
    • Drink our water
    • Make a personal weight loss goal to have, and the end of the show will be our target date
  • Weigh in and Challenge update for the first week for Princess:

    Weigh In: I was down .4 lbs (Not what I had hoped)
    Exercised: 3 times
    New recipe: Crockpot Chicken Parmasen
    Checked in and posted on 3FC each day
    Journaled each day & drank my water
    I ate within my calories most days but went over on a couple but over all I think that I did much better this week then I have in a long time.
    I ate out a total of 5 times plus had a birthday celebration in there too LOL - but I did my planning and made the best choices I could so even though I am only down .4 lbs I was not too unhappy with the week in general.

    I stayed within my points for the week. I ate my weeklies and part of my activity points but not all. I ate about 1/2 of them. I guess this week I'll try not eating any of them, and see how that goes, or maybe I'll eat them all. I don't know what to do....I'm running tomorrow 11 miles, so that's going to be a huge chunk of points. Any advice is greatly needed!!

    Water each day was not so go.. I had 2 days where I just couldn't get it all in. will work on that this week!!!

    Weighed down about 3 lbs (due to illness!
    Eating pretty good ate practically nothing for 2 days!!!
    Exercise 2 1 hour walks 1 45 min aquafit class
    New Recipe Broccoli/cauliflower soup
    Support check in as to 3 fat chicks a few times!
    Journaled well this is a goal for next week

    New Recipe: Nope. I dont like to do recipes. Not much of a cooker.

    Exercise: 4 days out of 7 this week so far.
    Support and check in: I think I missed a few days. I will try to work on that.

    I exercised 2 times last week. Going for 3 times this week.

    Exercised: 3 times (Zumba and long walks with the dogs)
    New recipe: Nope - this I failed to do
    Checked in and posted on 3FC each day

    At the rate I am losing weight it is unlikely that I will hit my overall weight loss goal for this contest but I am not going to change it, will just use it as a lesson as to how my body is changing and also reset my expectations so that I don't get discouraged.

    Exercised: 6 times
    New recipe: Cauliflower poppers, steel cut banana nut oatmeal, cinnamon popcorn

    This week I exercised 6 times and one of those days was my 11 mile run. I ate every point I could get my hands on lol. I ate all my dailies, all my weeklies and all my AP points. I'm going to try that again this week and see if I continue to lose, last week I didn't eat them all and I gained 1.8.....so we'll see I suppose
