  • Okay..im having a BAD day...its day 3 on this program and i have headaches again..i feel bloated..i dont feel lighter, i definitly dont look lighter..my pants feel tighter..im sweating like a pig even though its not hot outside and im not doing anything. On top of it..my filling broke and fell out while taking a bite into a piece of sugarless gum AND i dont have dental coverage..can you say Cha-ching$$$$ I just want to curl up and hide in a hole or quit altogether.. i feel like this is never going to work out for me.. i just want to quit..i feel so unhappy right now..and just totally bleh!
  • I'm sorry that you're feeling so rough - I just had really bad weakness, I honestly didn't feel any weight going off either. But my first week was 13 lbs. I started at a similar weight like you, 305. I just powered through it because of the threads on this website I knew it wouldn't last.

    You can do this...
  • Commit to a week! I feel like after the first weigh in it all becomes so worth it. Plus you will most likely be into ketosis by that point and it makes things so much more enjoyable.
  • Please don't give up!

This response is to your tooth, though. I had the EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN. Try to find a dentist that takes payments and get it checked out. If you wait as long as I waited (a couple of years) a simple refilling will turn into an expensive root canal, or in my case, an extraction. During the years I waited it got extremely painful, so going to a dentist now is worth the money because it will get painful and more expensive down the line. <3 I hope you feel better and what's left of the day turns better! <3
  • My Day 3 sucked too! I powered through, and Day 4 I felt 100% better! Stick with it - good luck!
  • It's carb withdrawal. Make sure to eat your veggies, drink all the water and have your salt. You can do it, and will be so glad you did.
  • Thanks chicks..i just feel so blah.. i guess going to bed will help with that problem... i guess on the upside of things.. i feel healtier for eating healthier
  • On day 281....wow no freakin regrets....be strong...no excuses...do not give up....
  • Take salt with water for the headaches. Drinks tons of water... you can make it through. It's carb withdrawal and it sucks! You are doing all kinds of great things for your body by getting all those toxins out of your system. You have to feel worse before you feel better... but when you are on the other side, it is SO worth it.

It's like a hard test in school. You have to live through it for it to be behind you.
  • Do Not Quit!! First off you making the commitment to change your lifestyle is awesome. Though you may feel down about whatever is botheing just keep pushing it all pays off. I quit so many times and to be honest this has been the first time I stuck to looking weight. If people can do it so can you.

Go to the drug store and get some temporary filling material. It will keep the bacteria out of the tooth until you can get into a dentist. Then...DON'T chew gum, it will pull the temporary filling out! Follow everyone's suggestions for the headache (salt, water etc). Best of luck! You can do this!
  • It will take you a while to get used to this way of eating. Although I never had any adverse side affects in the first week ( just lucky I guess) It did take a while to get used to eating HEALTHY! You WILL get through the first week, you WILL weigh in and be amazed at how much weight you lose, and it will be worth it. It really does get better.
