Yeap, no Big Macs here. I love Kens Red Hot sauce so I pretty much doctor up a lot of these recipes. On the Diet Direct website people post reviews of the food and they have posted how they doctor it and make their own recipes. I posted my own on my blog, although I have been slacking lately because I was just eating it right out of the box. Mistake, then you get bored. LOL Originally Posted by Kristikins

I mean - it's diet food; we are just trying to retrain our bodies on the apprpriate portion size and training it to eat for fuel, not pleasure. I can tell you though - that I bought a BUNCH of Nutrisystem food for cheap on ebay a few years ago and that stuff was CRAP! Everything I tried tasted like cardboard - it was amazing how they can make chocolate cake and lasagna taste exactly the same! WS is WAY better! So good luck to you - and please come in and post often - questions, comments, recipes, just chit chat...I think I'm the only "original" WSmer here now; and oh how I miss my buddies!
For example, with the Cheesecake, once in a while I will had pumpkin spice, to make pumpkin cheesecake. Or once it has set I will add a small drizzle of Hershey sugar free strawberry or chocolate syrup.
On the chili I add a spoon of fat free sour cream and a sprinkle of fat free or 2% cheese (whatevers on sale) and some hot sauce. I had hot sauce to the cheese steak mac. The spicy mac I have been known to throw in some broccolli and do that with the Alfredo as well. Even a packet of tuna.
It really is a game of experimentation because what one person likes, another may not.
I add sugar free calorie free flavors to the pudding/shakes to get a bit more variety. If you have a Dollar General by you they have a couple flavors for $1 if you wanted a test run without spending a lot of money.
http://capellaflavordrops.com/ Capella has over 50 flavors and they have mini sizes for trial too.
http://www.minimus.biz/ sells trial sizes and mini sizes of food items, which are quite handy when eating out or traveling.
