  • During my cardio one day I was thinking how interesting it would be to know how many minutes I exercise in the period of a month.

    So I am posting my exercise minutes daily in this threat and you are welcome to keep your data here too, so we can keep ourselves motivated.

    I started it last April and I was shocked to learn that in 3 weeks I worked out over 3,000 minutes!!!!

    What a motivation!!!
    It has helped me to keep going, because I want to see the minutes go up each day in this threat.

    You can even break the months down and learn how many minutes you worked out each week (and use the info to analyze your weight loss in that period) or maybe after 12 months you could add all the numbers you’ve got monthly and see how many minutes you exercised during the whole year.

    You don’t really have to post every day, as long as you keep track of the minutes from previous days and post it at once. It is up to you...

    This month I will start doing it different. I’ll now also keep track of each kind of exercise I do. So I will be describing my activity too.

  • Ok I'm in again this month! I have to say again that this thread is pretty much my biggest motivator to get some exercise in. Amazing job belezura at getting in over 4000 minutes of exercise last month- very inspirational!!!

  • Great this is just what I need I slack so bad on exercise thanks for this thread it will keep me at it

    starting weight 320lbs

    1: 55 mins - 27:50 mins treadmill 1.25 miles speed 2.8 - 3mph, rest floor exercises and free weights I'm sure that's not so great but I been sitting on my butt for 3 months of nothing so least its something, want to keep track of my progress for time, distance, and speed too for the month so that's why I'm being so specific. Hope I get alot better

  • How is everyone doing? I had my most intense zumba class today - the other two teachers I attend aren't quite as high energy or jumpy as this instructor is, but she really motivates me. At first I didn't like her barky style, but I'm getting used to it. Turbo Kick tomorrow, and weights hopefully!

  • Hi fitkristi!
    Tell you the truth, I don't like instructors that push too hard on cardio exercises. I don't mind weights or even spinning though... But any other hard cardio just pushes me away from exercising!!!
    But some people can do it and I give them lots of credit for it!
