I'm so excited today and proud of myself, and I wanted to share it here (even though I mostly just lurk) because I don't discuss 'numbers' with my hubby or family members. I started my diet last Nov. I had 125 lbs to lose. Today I hit 2 big benchmarks, #1 - I have lost 75 pounds!!!! and #2 - I weighed in at 199 today!!! so happy to be out of the 200's.
Even though I've lost that much, it's only in the past 3 or 4 weeks that I have started getting alot of comments. To be honest, it makes me uncomfortable... what do you say to "you've lost so much weight!!". Um, yeah, I was realllllly fat before. But I just say thanks and change the subject. My body feels so much better, no more foot and knee pain. And my feet have shrunk from an 8 1/2 wide to an 8 medium. I was a 7 1/2 before I had kids (and was not overweight). I work out 45-60 minutes a day and stick to around 1200-1400 calories, with some days off here and there. 50 more pounds to go!!!
