  • Jen How far do you live from Greenville? I know I asked before, but I forgot. I saw in our local paper Greenville is getting a Trader Joe's. I wish we would get one here!
  • diana, i am just 45 minute hop, skip, jump from Greenville. I don't go that way alot though. I am usually headed to Spartanburg if I am traveling. Is that where you live--greenville?. I heard Trader Joe's has yummy food. I like organic.

    well, stomach still pretty touchy

I ate 2 pcs thin crust pizza--it took me 3 hours to eat one.

    10 cherries
    3 chunks watermelon
    1 pc chicken
    3 bites ramen
    water

  • Felt a bit better today, got into work for 7.30am for a conference call with head office (which is 2 timezones ahead, ugh), flitted around the office catching up with the stuff I had hanging over from last week when I was on leave, left work at 3.45pm, went and did the grocery shopping, filled the Wysteria-mobile up with petrol, got home about 20 minutes ago and am now chillaxing with some Criminal Minds. Shopping counts as exercise, lol.

    Anyway, food:

    Breakfast:
2 Oatybix biscuit thingies with a tub of natural fat free yoghurt and some maple syrup for a bit of sweetness and a cup of strong black coffee to wake me up before the meeting.

    Snack:
Apple. Om nom nom. It was particularly good!

    Lunch:
Brussels pate and salad with a smidgeon of dressing, small (and I mean like fun size) packet of Butterkist popcorn and a bottle of Lucozade energy drink.

    Dinner:
Currently nomming on 2 gluten free crispbreads with brie. Mmmm. I might finish the tub of Ben & Jerry's later, dunno, lol. Oh, I've been bad today. But you know what, I don't really care!
  • Jen I live in Charleston, so the new Trader Joe's won't be an option for me. I hope we get one here one day. Our only healthy stores are Whole Foods and Earth Fare. Both of them are about 15-20 miles away. I will normally go to one of those once or twice a month. I have heard Trader Joe's is alot cheaper than Whole Foods. I would even be happy if we got a Whole Foods on my side of town.
  • Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

  • Really bummed today ... I have weighed the same thing for 3 days. 182.6. How do I get off this plateau? I am thinking my calorie intake with my calories burned is too low but not sure. I think I ate a little more so far today, but not sure. Haven't had dinner yet, but I feel stuffed. Just had a f/f chocolate pudding with cool whip and some watermelon. I'll be back later to post my food for today.

I saw your other post at the daily weigh-in thread about your calories. It seems like your calories should be fine. Three days isn't long to be at one weight. Maybe give it a week and then re-evaluate. Are you getting close to TTOM? Are you eating higher sodium foods? So many things contribute to our daily fluctuations or lack of. I would really give it a week and see what happens.
  • Diana thank you, I hope it's ok to say I can always count on you to help me. Thank you ... you know it's funny last month I came on, on the 13th and only stayed on for 3 days. Sunday I started spotting and have been off and on since. Went to church came back I had cramps. Still spotting but that's it. I have always been irregular since age 11. 33 years later no difference. About the sodium I am really careful about my salt intake since reading the post on here, I'll learning quite a bit. I can tell by my wedding rings they get uncomfortably tight when I have had too much salt. I'm gonna go ahead and take your advice and give it until Saturday and see what happens. I was thinking if I increase my calories, I'll feel like I'm feeling right now, stuffed and bloated. Not a good feeling at all. However I have put a second hole in my belt so I am losing inches. I sure wish I had taken my measurements when I first started.
  • love2b- patience, baby! 3 days is not a stall, in my book. I was the same weight for 6 weeks, now that felt like a stall. LOL so I had to tweak things.

  • love, 3 days is a little frustrating. I feel your pain. I got stuck at a certain weight for 3 months! But i was losing inches, so whatever it was--the measurements kept me motivated...until i got overwhelmed with life problems again! But take those measurements!
  • Quote: love2b- patience, baby! 3 days is not a stall, in my book. I was the same weight for 6 weeks, now that felt like a stall. LOL so I had to tweak things.
Natalia 6 weeks wow, you all are good. I would have probably given up. How did you tweak things? I'll be patient though

LoveAcat, I do weigh in every day, most of the time more than once or twice. I've gotten really good about guessing my correct when I re-weigh. I am trying to do some other things in my mind, but they aren't happening yet. I do better when I have someone to work out with and so far the only thing I have right now are walking partners.

Jen wow 3 months. I guess I need to stop whinning, huh! Yeah I was happy to see that my jeans had quite a bit of room. They were my favorite pair. I don't have money to get new clothes right now so thank goodness for freecycle. I'll just ask for a few items and hope that I get them. And I will definitely take my measurements in the morning.

Well thanks, talk to you all tomorrow. I know I said I'd be patient but I do hope that scale is friendly to me in the morning Good night
