Tamagoyaki (Japanese Omlette)

  • I made this for breakfast this morning, and it was delicious. I tweaked the recipe a bit. I made mine with 1 egg, three egg whites and a 2 tbs of water and replaced the sugar with splenda. It came out to 132 calories and 17.5 grams of protein!

I love tamagoyaki. It's great even at room temp, so you can make one and pack it for lunch with some fruit and whole grain crackers.
  • Neat. I looked up another recipe/tutorial with lots of pix so I could see how it is done with ingredients I have already.

I'm going to give it a whirl tomorrow for breakfast.
